Seriously????

No way! If so....I am buying a Phaneuf Jersey!!!!! Unfortunately, good talent that will be wasted on the Leafs, because the Leafs will continue to suck! It's what the Leafs do!

Don't agree with Hagman being moved...

The last time the Leafs made a HUGE deal with Calgary it worked out in the 90's!

There were no salary caps in the 1990s. Trades like this (overpaid/over-valued players with long-term contracts) have long-lasting ramifications in a capped environment.

Now the Leafs have one player who can score. Hard way to win hockey games.

yay!!! no more fagoof on the flames. imo the dirtiest player in the nhl. thinks he's tough but really isn't. for those of you who don't follow the western conference, fagoof was a huge distraction on the flames (lost 9 in a row until they finally beat edmonton 0-13 last night) and has been in trade rumors for quite some time now.

i may bump into elisa cuthbert now!!!

Awesome trade for the leafs...Phaneuf is a beast and was tired of calgary's bullshit.....he will pick up his game in Toronto .....we gave up 3 bums in stajan, hagman & mayers....Ian White is the only good player Calgary got and he's no Phaneuf.....this is a steal by Burke :)

Burke is really building a team full of selfish players and creating a major vacum in the dressing room with Phaneuf and Kessle. If the Suter boys couldn't get him to cooperate can you imagine how the Ron Wilson tough public love is going to play on Dion. Bottom line...who cares....Burke and Suter are desperate and this trade does nothng for no one except maybe allow Lapper to bump into Elisa now.

Considering the poor defensive performance against the Canucks last night - Paneuf could only make it better. Burke is doing the right thing.

Jamal got his wish - he out along with Stajan...Also hearing talks are going on to dump Toskala ??? keep you eye on this one.

May too little too late - but it takes time to re-build a team. Burke is good at that!

Keep your leaf socks, underwear and jersey's - they will get better and we will again feel the passion!
