Listen, the building of bike lanes in downtown Toronto is not unique. They are also doing so in rural areas and designed to make them safe for the cyclists.Every time municipalities reduce lanes it's one sign they believe there are less cars today.
Constantly building new roads? You mean like protesting building new highways?
Building bike lanes that are not used year-round due to Canada's climate is a bad decision.
By the way, I am a cyclist and try to use it at least twice a week. I pay my property taxes and so why should I be deprived of such privileges which is a healthy option in general?
Only when it snows, then I avoid using a bike, otherwise it's no problem using it in the winter!!
If you travel to nations like The Netherlands it makes Canada's bike lanes pale into comparison!!
