Finally, I miss Fijiman for bringing up topics that usually remained hush, hush.

I agree with Pool! Vidi Vici Veni was a poster almost in a class by himself - although he posted his best material over on MBB. I miss TheFan as well although he still does a most entertaining job dissecting ill-considered posts every now and then over on MBB.

What happened to Wired for Sound? He had a generally consistent point of view and wasn't afraid to express it. Was he banned for something he said regarding George Bush vs. Saddam Hussein?

I couldn't recall whether Wired spelled his name with spaces or not so did a search for Ayn* Rand instead. When I got nothing, I assumed Wired's posts had been deleted. I must have butchered the search procedure somehow!
