We bath our cat once a year. Pretty much a slugfest with the cat winning! He doesn't like it much at all Funny as hell to watch tho.

Esco...there does appear to be a bit too much water in that tub! lol
I can see why the cat might have been worried!

I grew up on a farm on the prairies. It was SOP to beat the hood of your truck before starting it to scare off the cats who climbed up on the warm engine block to sleep. The stupid ones didn't move and you would have to clean out the engine compartment at a car wash in town. Back then, cats wre pretty much disposable anyway. Coyotes would get em, or they would run under farm machinery. Its not that we went out of our way to hurt them, there were just so many of them around because of all the field mice seeking shelter in the barns for winter, they just got in the way at unfortunate times.

I don't know where you got that picture, but that is not a cat being given a bath. That is actually a cat just seconds before being boiled alive at some Chinese restaurant on Spadina ave. Look at the surface of the water, it is at a rolling boil.
Later tabby appeared as a pork substite in a box of take out Happy Family. Personally I have no problem with this as I enjoy eating pussy.
