With the one sided approach you have taken on this subject, your assignment will be a very boring and biased one. You should look at this from all sides and try not to project an opinion before you start.

I am sure some of these ladies have been abussed in some fashion, but if you talk to alot of them, they are educated and are using this form of employment to further that education.

Mad Humper I am glad you are able to leave it like that. One day you will learn to respect women no matter what their profession is...

Mad Humper...glad you are trying to learn about this part of society...but approach it with an open mind and remember that there is much more to people than what you encounter in brief meetings or contacts or stereotypes that you might harbour related to their jobs, clothing or hobbies.

I have gotten to know and become friends with some very fine ladies through initial contacts made in this industry. They are there and if you get to know them, they can enrich your life and perhaps your friendship can enrich their lives as well.

Remember money isn't the only reason that people do things.

I've personally never visited a prostitute or escort or whatever they are called around here. What exactly does SP mean? So let me get this straight, these girls that are working over in Toronto are just normal, everyday girls that you see walking around a college campus or out on the street shopping? Is this a normal career that women choose when they are young like some working in a clothing store do? That seems hard to believe but I guess I can look at this with an open mind. You guys do know these girls better than I do, I've never met them. It just seems hard to believe considering everything I've always heard.

Sure, sure.
Yet you know about TERB, probably been banned a few times.

I'm guessing you are also self loathing for having to pay to meet women you have no respect for.

You can't understand people by stereotypes and rumours. If you are trying to understand the "business"...then you need to reach beyond the common perceptions and get to know the people...because it is a people business.
Research your topic before jumping to conclusions is always a wise move.

I didn't know much about the subject coming into the project. The research I've done thus far shows prostitution in a negative way. I don't think that would surprise anyone. Much of the info I've found thus far makes the legalization of prostitution look like a failed social experiment. What benefit to Canada is the legalization of prostitution? Does that prevent unlicensed girls from becoming escorts? Now I'm going to be giving a presentation in three weeks to over 250 other students and all I have is negative material to feed off of. I wouldn't mind being able to state an argument that the general info out there is wrong about SP's, but I don't have enough facts to do so.

I agree, Alexa.
The same can be said for the pressure to offer rimjobs, greek, fully exposed faces or videos on your website.
It's subtle but I wish the pressure wasn't as strong, it probably causes many great providers to retire early or get in over their comfort and safety level.

It's been good to know ya
Over all in all my years of escorting I have seen many acts of caring on the part of the Gentlemen, so why would us escorts not care for these men as well? We are all human after all.

Great Job Mods. :)

I can agree with your assessment there. I stumbled upon this board in late 2001. Up until that time, bbbj was unheard of. I remember when I first started working as an escort, you were told not to do that and if you did, you were considered dirty. It was a no no.

IMO, it started when another group of women came to Toronto ( I won't mention names) and that raised the bar right there. I think it became both the demand and other women realizing that they may not be able to compete with others who did offer this. I cannot say if doing it was a better business move for escorts and their repuatations because not everyone would feel this way. Nowadays, it seems to be the status quo among hobbyists ( I won't say clients because not everyone reads these sites) and related message boards. Interestingly enough, the internet has created a whole different dimension for the sex industry. It's interesting to see over the years how knowledge can in most cases be considered power.

Could this too not be because we now have much more information about safety and risk and it has been pretty much proven that uncovered oral sex really isn't as risky as first thought?

I wouldn't pay too much attention to this individual because as they admitted firsthand that all they have are negative generalizations and stereotypes and he has most likely lived a sheltered life. 11- 14 tricks a day? Hahaha, that is a good one! He is not a participating member in the sex trade so therefore all he has to go on for his research paper is assumptions. It is too bad he's been banned and had he not written all of those things, he could have gathered a lot of information here to prove against some of the negatives of prostitution. He pretty much blew it here. No pun intended! LOL. I'm sure he is swimming in a pool full of ladies at his college or university that are sex workers. They're everywhere and you can't necessarily tell if they're in the adult entertainment business. I hope he gets a friggin' F!!! LMAO!!!:D
someone like that can never open their mind or their heart. I would feel sorry for them, if they did spend so much of their time trying to get even with everyone because of their problems and bitterness.
I agree- he needs to get laid.

I have never understood how some people continuously practice unsafe sex activities.

It only leads me to one conclusion: maybe there are some in the industry who already have an STD and just dont give a fuck who they infect. And then there are those, who don't know if they have an STD, and still dont give a fuck.

It's pretty scary, this topic has been discussed before, you'd think ESPECIALLY in this industry there would be a more emphasis on safe sex.

But that's just me - and I'm clean.
Client Or Escort I Dont Really think Niether Of Them Care Because If A Client Wants A BBBJ Then He Must Not Care If He Gets Infected Or Not. Or Maybe Its That Adrenaline Feeling They Might Get Infected That Turns Them On?

How can someone be around for so long and still have left field ideas on the biz. Be it mpa or escort 11 to 14 clients would be nearly impossible unless they were booked solid with 30 min sessions and no breaks. Let's face it the ladies who are booked solid probably have more 60 min sessions than 30 min sessions. It just doesn't add up. Heck I doubt even a street prostitute can put up those numbers doing quickies.

Escort / Call Girl - The top of the food chain, does not walk the streets, pays for their own drugs, well respected on the streets and by drug dealers for being on top of their game.

Crack Whore - A Street walker, will perform any type of sex act for money, supports a pimp or old man, pays for their own drugs, has mild respect from drug dealers for sometimes being able to buy their own crack.

Chickenhead - Bottom of the barrel, street walking gutter slut, usually will do anything for their next hit of crack, crack is more important then money, has absolutely NO respect from anyone!

The above are all different ways of classifying hookers. Its a fact that statistically hookers turn 11-14 tricks per day. No one likes to think they are getting sloppy seconds and I don't expect any escort, streetworker, or crackwhore to ever truthfully admit how many dudes they do in one day. The point really is just wear a condom unless you want to give yourself a death sentence.

Quick question....what was meant by hobby? People actually look at paying for sex as a hobby?

You obviously are watching too many Cop shows
Are you in Canada by the way ?
Your knowledge is a death sentence ........so take that condom off your head its effecting your brain

I wonder what level of education you are at, as you clearly have not learned about stereotypes / generalizations... or maybe you are just ignorant.

Maybe you should

The Mad Humper said:

It does not seem that you have an open mind at all.

Not all working girls use drugs. Not all people have the same opportunities in life and if some girls who are openminded need to resort to providing sexual services to get ahead and / or get an education, as long as they are okay with it, why should they not be able to?

In a lot of cases, the cards dealt to a woman force her to make difficult choices to support her family.

It seems that you have not approached this with an open mind. Maybe you should smoke a joint and get laid and maybe after you have travelled and experienced life, you may be qualified to speak on the subject, but until then maybe I should remind you that this is an escort review board (gosh, can you believe guys pay for services provided by escorts and write reviews about their experiences???).

BBBJ has always been readily available. Though it was considered a no no at the first place(s) you worked at it does not mean that was the case in general. Unheard of, what you, as a rookie, were led to believe, was definitely not the case.

These hookers have all been abused either physically or sexually and most have a drug habit to support.
What a fucking dipshit.

I just did an interview with a student who was researching the off-street indie trade in my city. I know this sounds crazy, but she'd done her research and knew something about what she was talking about. Rather than, say, going to an escort review board where people will obviously know far more than you about the topic and then use it to showcase your astonishing level of dumbassed-ness and lack of comprehension.

Good job, sport.
