I used to be able to do this when I had a PC, now I can't figure out how to do it with a Mac as there is no "right click" option.

Help, please?
Scrap the Apple 2 button mouse, spend $29.00, get a three button mouse and fire away. It's the only way to go

As far as 'right click' on a single-button mouse goes, just hold down the 'Control' key while you click...

Or spend $20 and buy any mouse you like...

Yes, the Control key enables the right click function. As a Mac user and fan, this is one issue that still confounds me about Apple. They have right click functionality in their OS, but they refuse to supply a 2 button mouse! It is a stubborness that prevails here, and it is downright silly. OddSox is right, you can use any USB multi button mouse, and I highly recommend going out and getting one. For now though, just hit "Control" when clicking on something and you'll see the same results as if you had a right click on the mouse.

Actually, Apple has been selling a multi-button mouse for quite a while now...

Have you actually tried to use that faux two button mouse? It guesses wrong 80% of the time when you're trying to right click and nothing happens. The rest of the time you're trying to left click and it thinks your right clicking. More genius from Apple.

You can always count on WoodPeckr to trot out the old "Macs are expensive" line any chance he has. Thanks WoodPeckr, we would have never known your position on this since your first 100 posts using this argument just didn't sink in. It always helps us Mac users to hear you say it again! :D

I work on both platforms, but prefer Mac. The biggest thing I have against them is the regular need to use to multi button actions, more than two, to do somethings.

Such as? I've been using Macs for over twenty years and I can't think of anything I couldn't do with one button, let alone "more than two"?

In Settings you can configure your apple mouse (wired or wireless) to have a right click.

I hear repeatedly that Macs are better from reliable sources.

I use PCs based on the MS OS for business reasons, but I don't believe that MS is the best.
It all depends on how you define 'best'.

M$ didn't become the number 1 OS by dumb luck. It is a good OS, otherwise the vast majority of people wouldn't use it.
Windows works fine if you know computer basics and do your proper routine maintenance. If you don't, expect problems and perhaps you should move to something a little more 'simple' like Mac.

Mac requires no PM because it's unix/linux based. It just runs but you will pay much more for this OS and all its sleek goodies that are quite pricey.

Linux is another option. Personally I think Linux is the best because it does ALL M$ & Mac does only Linux and ALL Linux software is FREE! Linux is more secure than M$ and requires no maintenance. You just turn it on and run it worry free. Linux is probably the best kept secret because it is free and has NO huge 'marketing promotions' like M$ & Mac, which constantly brag about how great they are.

That would actually be funny if it wasn't delusional. :p
