I used to be able to do this when I had a PC, now I can't figure out how to do it with a Mac as there is no "right click" option.
Help, please?

Scrap the Apple 2 button mouse, spend $29.00, get a three button mouse and fire away. It's the only way to goflora.revel said:I used to be able to do this when I had a PC, now I can't figure out how to do it with a Mac as there is no "right click" option.

Actually, Apple has been selling a multi-button mouse for quite a while now...Goomer said:Yes, the Control key enables the right click function. As a Mac user and fan, this is one issue that still confounds me about Apple. They have right click functionality in their OS, but they refuse to supply a 2 button mouse! It is a stubborness that prevails here, and it is downright silly. OddSox is right, you can use any USB multi button mouse, and I highly recommend going out and getting one. For now though, just hit "Control" when clicking on something and you'll see the same results as if you had a right click on the mouse.

I work on both platforms, but prefer Mac. The biggest thing I have against them is the regular need to use to multi button actions, more than two, to do somethings.Goomer said:Yes, the Control key enables the right click function. Such as? I've been using Macs for over twenty years and I can't think of anything I couldn't do with one button, let alone "more than two"?blackrock13 said:The biggest thing I have against them is the regular need to use to multi button actions, more than two, to do somethings.
After all that's what TERB is all about, helping fellow Terbites save a few bucks! More for the hobby then!....Goomer said:It always helps us Mac users to hear you say it again!
In Settings you can configure your apple mouse (wired or wireless) to have a right click.flora.revel said:I used to be able to do this when I had a PC, now I can't figure out how to do it with a Mac as there is no "right click" option.

OTB
It all depends on how you define 'best'.JohnFK said:I hear repeatedly that Macs are better from reliable sources.
I use PCs based on the MS OS for business reasons, but I don't believe that MS is the best.
That would actually be funny if it wasn't delusional.WoodPeckr said:M$ didn't become the number 1 OS by dumb luck. It is a good OS, otherwise the vast majority of people wouldn't use it.
