Only NJ, LAL and Milw are above .500 but not by much.
baby steps, they should take it one game at a time and those dreaded west coast trip is never easy. but atleast we're seeing an improvement in november there are 7 games Raptors should have won but lost cuz last 3-4 minutes meltdown and in november and december only the washington over time game they lost that they should have won

Was over at nba.com looking at the rookies of the month for dec and CV is putting up some pretty decent stats considered how shocked the press and Raps fans were with his selection. Here's what the site had to say about CV....

Villanueva, the seventh overall pick in the 2005 NBA Draft, ranks third in scoring (14.2 ppg), third in field goal percentage (.527 percent), fourth in rebounding (4.9 rpg) and fifth in blocks (.62 bpg) among rookies. He led Toronto’s bench in scoring in 10 of 13 games played in December, and the team went 3-0 when he scored 19 or more points. Villanueva helped the Raptors improve from a 1-15 record in November to a 7-7 record in December.

I was particularly impressed with the record for dec. Let's hope Jan is equally kind to the Raps. Hopefully, they can give the Hawks the thrashing of their lives.

At this point I think the raps will take any wins they can get. LOL
3 game win streak.... thought I'd never hear that this year.

Should the raps try to trade Mike james? Would he be back next year anyways? Memphis has to be looking for someone to run the point with Damon out for the season..

I hope we keep Mike James, I like himas a player on and off the court. He seems to be an asset on the bench and when he is playing. He also does good things in the community which is always nice to see. I for one hope we don't trade him. Him and Calderone are good backups for each other. BTW, how long is Calderone out for?

Talk about a great gamr tonight. Everyone was playing well. Mike James is really looking like a star and embracing the chance to lead this team to battle for that 8th playoff spot. Bosh was unbelievable with his 22pts and 16 boards I think, he might have gotten more but that is the last I saw. Loren Woods needs to just be sent down to the D league or something. Raptors Win Raptors Win Raptors Win!!!!!!:D

These guys are playing great, lots of skill and enthusiasm. Let's hope they all stay healthy because that bench ain't much too look at. :)

I agree 100%. What a waste of a roster spot. I would rather management bring Pape Sow up for a looksee.

I loved watching Bosh victimize Mutombo. DM was not honouring CB's 17 footer and he made him pay.

I liked some of the strong moves CV was making to the basket tonight.

Mo Pete..... well when he's hot he's hot but I hope he can keep it going. He hasn't comvinced me.

As for Rose do you guys think he could contribute something defensively, perhaps with the slump he's been in during the course of the season it may be time for him to try and find another way to help the team.

What is Bonner doing out there. Driving to the basket?!!!?!! Everytime he does that I cringe.

While I'm happy they won it was against the Rockets who were missing Yao and Juwan.

I hope the Bulls go on another losing streak. Course what's the point even if the Raps make the playoffs they have no realistic chance.

I love how Bosh kept challenging Mutombo to come out and defend him, but he wouldn't. So Bosh would just pull up and hit that jumper. CV made some awesome plays and really hussled. I know what you mean about Bonner going to the rim, but hey you gotta give him credit for trying and having the balls to do so. MoPete is the best circus shot guy on the team right now. LOL Jalen needs to sit down and think about how he can contribute to this team that is on a roll. Nice to see Calderon back too.

Mike James' playmaking reminds me a bit of Jason Kidd. A lot of criss cross dribbling to attract defenders and create the open man. And he can score to boot. I just hope they don't trade him.

Does anybody else think Rafer Alston sort of looks like Chris Rock?
