I realized this last night why it is not just SA.
I was browsing Redzone and Leolist last night I saw new ads for Saturday night just after 6pm they all started to pop up. My guess is because it is a long weekend, these women couldn't find dates or boyfriends for the month or weekend. Of course this varied by age older than 35. Maybe some of these women their husband went hunting for 2-3 weeks. Hey I hear stories and I put one and one together.
Also I think College and University students have mid terms exams around this time and I believe Study week is also around this time. Remember this also the time when new Students dump their SO for a better one or they miss them and it interferes with their study. So goodbye SO I will go to SB.
So yes there are events that affect the amount of people showing up on websites. Like here on Terb hardly any new post since Friday night, since I am GUESSING here most people went away with their SO for the long weekend or took time off from the internet.
This is just theory.

I have been on and off SA for years, my opinion, not worth the effort. Bots, scammers, etc, even when you find someone it is all about money, may start at PPM but trust me, the ask goes up as they get comfortable, rent, dinners, gifts, "stuff" they need etc. As I said, not worth the effort, hit on a waitress or bartender or grocery store clerk, at least you can see them, I have had a few this way, not nearly as greedy but at the end of the day, old dude + nice looking young girl =breakup and goodbye (usually her)
Seeking is great if you're looking for a casual friends-with-benefits type of relationship vs no strings attached that escorts offer and as a long-time user of Seeking, I can confirm what Tony2000 said seeking is filled with online only, scammers, and toe dippers. Time + effort + money = not worth the effort anymore. I can't recommend seeking anymore unless you're knowingly into this kind of thing

Seems so dumb to me. A site that's designed to find a female for an "arrangement $$$", but then discussing this is not allowed..lol.
All the these Sugar Dating sites have to be very careful of US law. The guys running them sure aren't puritans and they know exactly what's taking place, but they can face heavy legal consequences if they're found to be facilitating anything resembling prostitution. That's why they're "dating sites". Take the conversation to another more private platform when the discussion gets close to talking about $$ and everybody is happy.

Does Seeking Arrangement have a way for the girls to verify themselves to the admin? I've never used this particular site, so I'm not sure. This was one thing I had appreciated during my brief time on Secret Benefits. However, I didn't end up meeting with anyone, so I'm not sure if I was taking comfort in something that only worked in theory.
Discussing money for pay per meet is discouraged. It is too close to the escorting model for their comfort. They prefer talking about things like monthly allowance.
