Seriously Considering a Z10. Am I an Idiot?

Have used several Blackberries for work. A few old ones (scroll ball), then the 9700 and Bold for a long time. The bold was fantastic actually. Ended up with a Z10 eventually. It was good but I still missed the keyboard.

If you write tons of emails all day long I think the physical keyboard is still a huge plus. That plus much better support for corporate email systems. (Try using Good on Android...absolutely miserable experience).

For most "personal" phones I would go iOS/Android but the BB still serves a specific purpose.

With the current promotion at Bell, I'm upgrading my Z10 to a Z30. Very happy with my BlackBerry.

The Z30 is actually a great phone. sound quality, speed, functionality. I went from the Q10 to the Z30, and couldn't be happier.

Can you install Android apps on it? Is it through Google Play or a 3rd party appstore?
I installed a program called DDPB on my PC to sideload android apps onto my Z30. All I do is download an app (.bar file) to the DDPB program, plug my Z30 into my PC, click install and I'm done. It takes about the same amount of time as installing an app from BlackBerry World. I can also upload as many apps as I want all at the same time.

Convert .apk to .bar files using a converter or download Android apps already converted from here. http://apps.goodereader.com/apk-2-bar/#page_view
