but it's not okay to suggest that what other people wear has an effect on what happens to them?
It's not a matter of opinion, it's a matter of fact: What women wear has no significant impact on how likely they are to be raped.

This is due to a couple of factors, one being that rape is a crime of opportunity, and so rapists don't generally get to be very choosy about what their victims are wearing. A second is that rape is not generally motivated by lust, but rather by a desire to feel powerful and dominant.

It's not just that it's morally repugnant to blame the victim, it's that there is actually no relationship between clothing and rape. None.

Now there might be a relationship between clothing and MINOR sex crimes, groping, jeering, that sort of thing--where those crimes might actually be motivated by lust. But not rape.

absolutely agree. the blurring of what actually happened by lumping a butt squeeze with a full-blown rape under the term 'sexual assault" is the key to the problem. the cop (dopey as he was to say what he did while in uniform) probably was referring to that kind of sex assault. he sees pigs every day and knows how they act. if i was better looking and walked thru a ladies party at chippendale's i wouldn't be surprised if they touched me. i would be if they didn't. but i wouldn't expect to be tied up gagged and molested. decent society has limits.

Quite untrue, pls refer to research inmy post #94 on this thread:

Highly respected research suggests just that: rape is often, if not usually, for the purpose of sexual satisfaction. This `rape is about power` is a line of thinking promoted by gender-based feministists that has been swallowed hook line and sinker by mainstream media without a thought as to its validity.

Great rack and a fine flaming bush as well!

Looks like she was able to cover up quickly and flash people discreetly - have you ever done that, Heidi?

If you bait the hook don't be surprised when a fish bites.
Of course if you are a fundamentalist Jew or Muslim, baiting the hook is anyone in western garb. But if you are just low IQ knuckle dragger - I'm guessing any women who looks attractive is just ask'n for it.

If you dress like a whore, you forfeit the right to complain about "unwanted" attention.

That does not translate into "she was asking to be raped"

It's just common sense, so I expect that there will be those that just don't get it.

Yes, nice pic. Can we assume that Toni wore a corset to cover her mid-section because she is a mom?
Regardless of whether or not she is a mom, pretty sure she didn't have the corset on the whole time there. Thought for sure at one point she only had the long coat on and was not hiding anything.

Yes, the pic is real, I took it myself. Lets see if I can cover all the questions:

- She was not just flashing, she walked along openly like that, including chatting with cops. There is no way they would ever arrest a women at the slut rally for dressing like a slut, the feminists would flip. And it is legal to be nude in Ontario when you are part of an event, such as Pride or World Nude Bike Ride, so it was not an issue.
- She is a mom, but she has a nice flat stomach. She just likes the corset sometimes, in this case, she felt a corset and boots was slutty, the sweater was because it was cold.
- I am pretty sure the corset stayed on for the duration, that thing takes a while to tie and untie.

Technically, I don't think it's legal to be bottomless like that.. technically. But who gives a fuck about technicalities when you see someone like that walking down the street??! I wish I would have been there, and gotten a picture with her ;)
