Saw last night's episode and would have too sat that they are off to a good start.
Some interesting new characters and the usual T&A.

by jupiters cock, it was a great start to what will be an all too short prequel series. it will be over before we know it, but by the end of 6 episodes there will be much glory,revenge, sex and blood! bring it on! Gaaia and Lucretia and the cast of slave girls look delicious.

I saw the opener-- and it was pretty good. Well, on par with last season anyway.
Hopefully they manage to move on to a proper S:2, with a new lead.
Funny how I guess because of Shakespeare plays and some early Hollywood historical epic films Americans love or at least buy British/Australian accents in ancient Rome entertainment projects. I still think there is a part of the American psyche that loves being talked down to by the English which might explain Simon Cowell's popularity and wealth.
Onto the pussy which is stellar on this show. Really like the woman who was on Dexter a couple of years ago. She's a little gummy when she smiles but damn that woman has a dynamite body. The female slaves are pretty good too, especially the Dartori's wife. That chic has a beautiful face.
2 of my favourite characters are Batiatus and Vasher, the Batiatus guy seems like the best actor on the show. The way he delivers his lines about "takin Zeus's cock in his ass" or something to that effect when fortune turns on him can be hilarious. The other character I really like is the Syrian Vasher. That guy is resourceful and underhanded to say the least.

Sadly the 6 episode prequel ended. i really enjoyed it and wish it had many more episodes. oh well in another year we get the official season 2 of Spartacus: Blood and Sand, hopefully it won't have lost too much without season one star Andy Whitfield reprising as Sparty.
In the meantime Starz network showed off the premiere episode of Camelot. it officially begins the beginning of April

Oh I absolutely LOVE this series.....Hot men, half naked women, fighting, sex, more hot men, more half naked women......oh and drama, intrigue and back stabbing galore.....what's not to like?
