Dude, you did more bitching and moaning about this party then everyone else combined and you claim that you "never did plan to go"? What you really mean is that you didnt get your way so you sat home and pouted.

It was actually a very good party. Andy bought food and drinks, there was at least 50+ TERBites (not counting the silent lurkers), even Rusty made an appearance (sober and with his pants on).

Why dont you plan the next one, that should take care of all your excuses.

I was, unfortunately, unable to attend despite plans to do so due to the location (far from accessible on local transit, with shuttle service that does not extend far into the city) and discomfort with it being a strip club (not that I'm not okay with what I do but I'd hate feeling like I was taking away from someone's business at their workplace).

Andy did make sure a ride with Mirage - but what about all the newbies I was bringing out? All five of the kinky new talents I was excited for you to meet would have been grateful had the party been held in a slightly more friendly location.

At this point I think its clear that girls are attending these parties - could we please consider ditching the strip club idea? I bet a lounge would not charge for us to us part of their space, if we were buying drinks. More interaction-friendly always seems good to me.

Easter seems really sacreligious to celebrate like this... (Is it really bad that I find that great incentive to suggest an Easter party? I know its too soon, but there's something kinda hot about that...)

Either way, I'm really stoked for next time!

I think Sheik et al. did a great job organizing the party and I had a great time. I enjoyed the strip club a lot and most of the dancers were cool with us being there.

There really aren't many venues better than a strip club, on balance. (Sheik, have you got a rec-room?)
Can't please everybody!

It's only a specific perverted segment of the population that goes so it's fairly private, and I think people are more comfortable sharing discussions about sexuality in a strip club.

Maybe it would be possible at another club to put the terb party to the side so that dancers don't have to walk through the party on their way to the smoking or VIP rooms.

i would be more than happy to set up a non strip club party for some time in July, and i would gladly put up cash from my own pocket book to do it. i already have one person willing to help out in some way if anyone else would like to pitch in let me know.
it's about time some effort was put in to planning a party where everyone is welcome with out competing. no one should be working at the party only if they choose afterwards, makes it more relaxed and enjoyable.

I had an awesome time myself, was nice to meet some new members to terb...I can't remember their handles...but remember their real names which of course I won't post...it was nice to talk about their first experience with the board, and realizing I've been here for 3 years almost myself now.

Big showing or small showing, it's always good to see everyone and look forward to seeing and drinking with everyone again.

Question? Why do we have to tell the dancers that we are working ladies? Can the club not just say that they are hosting a party for men and women and to play nice with both?

Because they read TERB (e.g., Samantha/longlegs12) and will know (or assume) anyway...
