Your questions are stupid and your clock is broken. Let's see you man up and tackle my points which Dealmaker brought up as well. All you're good at is dodging while tossing baseless accusations.
Again, steve~, you still haven't answered my initial questions. What's wrong? Scared? Or, it's because I am correct.

Second, I guess you can't come up with your own original questions, so you have to piggy-back someone else?
Though, (I know you are illiterate) I did answer the Woz question, already.

Mark Zuckerberg has a $15+ billion bank and he did JACK FUCK ALL ...
And, Jobs felt it was his duty as elder statesman to offer advice and guidance to Zuckerberg.

...WOZ may have done so out of loyalty perhaps? Just goes to show who had the real class...
I love how everybody uses the 'Jobs screwed Woz' argument.
First, Woz got a shitload of money from Apple (any of you guys remember US Festivals?)
Second, Woz has defended Jobs many times (a real true sign of friendship, does that sound like a person that felt he was screwed)
Third, (if you saw his reaction and comments after Jobs death) tearfully lining up for the 4S
Fourth, I didn't know there were so many Terbites that are employed for Woz as his PR representative?

So ... I'm sure most Terbites who felt backstabbed would never defend their backstabber.
So I don't feel Woz felt that screwed over. Sure there were disagreements. But, so what?

Jobs never created the MP3 player. It existed already.
It was fair game, Sony, Microsoft, Wal-Mart, Mattel, etc., etc. had every chance to create the "iPod"

Jobs had a vision of what an MP3 'should' be (and the accompanying ecosystem) and executed that vision. Apples's competitors didn't. Simple.
Actually as factually pointed out - Jobs had a vision of what an MP3 'should' be (by copying a existing product) Simple.

The guy who made the first peanut butter and jelly sandwich didn't invent peanut butter or the jelly - he was simply the first guy to bring them together. Similarly Jobs didn't invent the MP3 player or Amazon (or other on-line music stores) but he was the first one to make the players and sell the content. His forte was marketing not engineering.

I'm just waiting for those Job worshipers to forget about Palm, Rim and because Jobs copied the smart phone (iPhone) - they will petition to have Alexander Graham Bell removed for Jobs as the inventor of the telephone.

Have the worshipers given him the inventor status on the tablet yet ? LOL

Oh, I'm sorry, you were celebrating the birth of the iPod, I just thought I'd point out how a Brit's design from 1979, looks INCREDIBLY similar to the 1st and 2nd gen iPods, my bad.

However, NoFatties, nailed the PB&J with it. Hope that's not too simplistic for you.

Interesting read this thread, really demonstrates to me who were in leadership positions in business and who were blue collar workers just by the way they post. Nothing new though, heard it all before over shop talk over the decades, obviously nothing has changed.

Jobs was a great visionary, a great leader regardless if he personally created or not created certain products, that's a moot point IMO. When one leads a corporation of thousands of people their role is to harness the energy of all his people and create an environment where creativity and excitement abounds, and also to get everyone in the company to share his vision and contribute to the vision. I've seen companies go under because the leader thought he/she could do it all without people.

I haven't bothered reading most of this thread but it seems like many of you are just talking shit about Steve.. I don't say I like the guy, nor hate him, just indifferent to him.

No invention is autonomous in this world. Period. Everything has a history, and is influenced by another product/idea/thing that was already envisioned in one way or the other by someone prior. I wouldn't say Steve Jobs 'copied' the inventions of others.. It doesn't sound right. Steve had the ability to be critical of the products that were already out there. Steve had the guts and ability to say to the world, "you all are doing this all wrong.. Your products are crap. I'm going to do it the better way. Give you a better product." Anyone of us is free to copy someone's idea, give it a little of our own twist and try to become the next Steve Jobs. Most of us will fail because we approach it with a malicious attitude of merely copying and profiting from what others have invented rather than trying to critique its place in society, re-invent the product and make a statement to the world.

Steve Jobs was no ordinary guy, rather a philosopher and one of the greatest thinkers. He understood society and humans needs more than anyone in this world ever has.

Well, if you want to go that far, we can thank Gene Roddenberry's Star Trek tricorder for starting mobile devices.

Apparently he did, according to a tech journalist who regretted not keeping the napkin Jobs drew his idea on.

I like to go back, and give a little cred to the Star Trek guys too.

Utter bullshit ! I personally would argue that the 1983 TRS-80 Model 100 computer (think of a 2.5" thick iPad) was the primitive version of the tablet computer with the exception of the keyboard was hard keys (no touch technology) where the touchscreen keypad would appear. The modern concept of the tablet computer is from Microsoft in 2001.

Jobs probably also wrote the solution to the US deficit on a piece of toilet paper but unfortunately flushed it down the toilet. Just as believeable.

You guys are all wrong. The primitive version of the tablet was invented in the late 50's by a Frenchman, Arthur Granjean, in his garage.
He was a technological genius, way ahead of his time and influenced many generations to come.

Great to see as people go further and further into the past, they find precursors to the tablet form factor.

I know fun-guy is having some fun here (pun intended) but almost everything really is a remix - http://www.everythingisaremix.info/watch-the-series/

Again, steve~, you still haven't answered my initial questions.[/B] What's wrong? Scared? Or, it's because I am correct.
You're so uncorrect about everything due to your cult like devotion. You only presented your silly marketing question to DODGE my own FACTS about Apple's overpricing and now want to harp on me? How about you man up like I said you should.

Second, I guess you can't come up with your own original questions, so you have to piggy-back someone else?
You idiot!! How am I piggybacking on anyone when I only pointed out that they presented the same questions/points that I've ALREADY gave to you EARLIER!!!!! Heck.. He had to read the book to get them while I just used the 60 min story and articles about the book.
I did answer the Woz question, already.
No you didn't. You just keep saying over and over.. "He was in line for the iPhone" as if that excuses it. It does not. All the money they made does not excuse it either. You seem to keep hiding behind the billions or blinded by it while defending his foul actions towards others.

And on your point that Woz defended him after that BS. He's just not biting the hand that fed him.

You stupidly asserting Jobs created the tablet said: "Apparently he did, according to a tech journalist who regretted not keeping the napkin Jobs drew his idea on."
And with that bullshit statement (Already pointed out to you as such by another poster) You've invalidated yourself in this thread fanboy.

No again. Stop deflecting. Just admit you are i l l i t e r a t e

Again, i l l i t e r a t e And, read post #222

..You seem to keep hiding behind the billions or blinded by it while defending his foul actions towards others.
Again, i l l i t e r a t e You seem to be really lazy and don't do your research with your arguments, only once have you actually mentioned names to support your arguments: Henry Ford, Lennon/McCartney, Walt Disney, Chinese Slave Labor.

It's funny that you mention the above, let's see. Henry Ford, well, he was instrumental in IG Farben. You know, the German company that supplied the Nazi with chemicals for the gas chamber. You know ... Auschwitz, etc.

Lennon/ McCartney? Didn't they treat Harrison & Starr like shit?

Walt Disney? Wow ... quite the laundry list. You know the saying "Choose death over getting sued by a Disney lawyer".

And on your point that Woz defended him after that BS. He's just not biting the hand that fed him.
Again, i l l i t e r a t e Bite what hand that feeds it? Woz hasn't worked for Apple in ages? Do you rep WOZ? (you still haven't answered that question: do you represent Woz? You know, work for him? Read his mind? He has confided that he "felt he got screwed by Jobs")

And with that bullshit statement (Already pointed out to you as such by another poster) You've invalidated yourself in this thread fanboy.
Again, i l l i t e r a t e The tablet reference, you'll have to watch "iSteve" on PBS or BBC (and NO, it's not Dancing With The Stars ... hint, these TV stations are for intelligent cultured people)

Time to quit steve~ You've got nothing. Just finish up the chores on your farm.

No again. Stop deflecting. Just admit you are 'Insert baseless assumption toward opponant here'
You can toss your bullshit assumptions at me all you want.. They do not hide that fact that you're a DODGER when faced with tough questions.

read post #222
You're DODGING again. Read his post #193.. Oh shit. Since you're too lazy to do so here it is:
Dealmaker-- "I have just finished reading the book. My reaction? Shocking! To read first hand accounts of how he cheated Wozniak out of a bonus from the start, abandoned a girl he made pregnant, worth $256 million and yet cut one of his best friends out of Apple stock options, fired workers at random, etc., etc., just left me absolutely numb. Perhaps consciously or not, he set out to exact revenge for being put up for adoption. Unbelievable!"
That's the post I was talking about and since you failed to see that I'd say it's safe to say you're the only 'illiterate' one here fanboy.

Again, You seem to be really lazy and don't do your research with your arguments, only once have you actually mentioned names to support your arguments: Henry Ford, Lennon/McCartney, Walt Disney, Chinese Slave Labor.

Funny how you twist 'why' the list was posted to begin with (To counter your silly boast that no one was at Job's level accomplishment wise) into one about how each person listed acted towards others. You're still excusing Jobs due to his deep pockets fanboy.

Again, Bite what hand that feeds it? Woz hasn't worked for Apple in ages? Do you rep WOZ? (you still haven't answered that question: do you represent Woz? You know, work for him? Read his mind? He has confided that he "felt he got screwed by Jobs")
Silly child. Despite not working at Apple for ages he still benefited from it so Jobs still had a hand he would not bite. Also I don't have to rep Woz or work for him, read his mind etc.. to tell you (As others have also pointed out) that Jobs ripped him off in the early days on that Atari deal. When that FACT is portrayed in the future movie about your idol I suppose you'll say to yourself "That never happend" right?

Again, The tablet reference, you'll have to watch "iSteve" on PBS or BBC ..
He did NOT invent the Tablet child and I don't have to watch 'pro Jobs/Apple' propaganda.

Yep. Put that fanboy in place guys.

As you can see fanboy 5hummer, more and more people are coming to this thread and being critical toward your posts. Hmm... That should tell you something.

Like you're the one and not me that needs to do that 'research' perhaps? :D

You're hanging by a thread stevie~!

You can toss your bullshit assumptions at me all you want.. They do not hide that fact that you're a DODGER when faced with tough questions.
Oh stevie~, based on your track record (I don't mean tractor trailer record), all you do is throw shit in the air and hopes it sticks.

You're DODGING again. Read his post #193.. Oh shit. Since you're too lazy to do so here it is:
That's the post I was talking about and since you failed to see that I'd say it's safe to say you're the only 'illiterate' one here fanboy.
I really should excuse you for being i l l i t e r a t e , since you didn't read his follow up post #222, it's not fair is it stevie~
Dealmaker: I wish all you guys will just read the book. If you do like I have, you will realize that his achievements could not be taken for granted. Despite being a complete jerk, Steve Jobs pulled off accomplishments ordinary mortals could not have achieved. How he convinced the record companies to agree to list their songs on iTunes was a classic example of bravado and guts. He drove his team hard to accomplish things none thought was possible. Please read the book.
stevie~ ... there are ESL courses offered in the boonies by municipalities. You should take advantage of them. Maybe you can bump iPhones with a nice cow-tipper.

Funny how you twist 'why' the list was posted to begin with (To counter your silly boast that no one was at Job's level accomplishment wise) into one about how each person listed acted towards others. You're still excusing Jobs due to his deep pockets fanboy.
You are going in cow-circles and not making any logical intelligent sense stevie~ I asked you a question. You responded (for once, intelligently). And, I countered (very intelligently, BTW). I don't need to excuse Jobs -- his record speaks for itself.

Uhhh ... stevie~ ... that makes absolutely no sense. Please re-write your response coherently, please.

He did NOT invent the Tablet child and I don't have to watch 'pro Jobs/Apple' propaganda.
But ... but ... stevie~ ... you have been watching/reading Steve Jobs propaganda (you've mentioned) -- 60 minutes, News articles, Obits, TV specials, etc., etc.

Don't fight it stevie~. Don't fight it stevie~.

Apple and Steve Jobs loves you stevie~
