I got another one month membership on Seeking partly in preparation for a trip to the east coast ; where there are fewer SBs. I've been messaging a potential SB for a day . Already a request for a $65 e-transfer for phone bill - " so my service doesn't get cut off " I have fallen for this a few times , always a regret . And always a regret to "loan me some money"/ pay in advance ( for rent or major dental bill ) during an ongoing arrangement . What opinions do you guys have about this ?

Paying ANY AMOUNT in advance for ANYTHING is a total mistake. Tell them you never pay anything in advance to someone you've never and do not budge. Let 'em walk if they don't like it. It is the biggest mistake that you can make.

That's some good points, I factor in the cost of a hotel and some drinks/dinner when I'm doing the math in my head. You can save money if you have them over to your place, but don't like having people over the first few times because there is a possibility they're scoping your place out. For some reason, I've had two cash-and-dash situations; both were ladies from Barrie (whatever that means). I guess, in hindsight, what was going on was pretty clear. For this reason now I don't give the girl any money at the start of the meet-up.

Written profile and more than 1 picture is a definitely green flag, though I think they can do that with AI now.

If you're visiting (I've done this before, too; it's fun, but try to set up things with 2-3 girls, as at least one girl will ghost as soon as your plane lands). I'd use the fact that you're arriving soon to your advantage, tell them you'll be visiting next week, and you'll definitely cover their whole bill in-person then. Play along, too; let them know phone companies will let you keep your service if you can commit to paying the bill by a certain date (like in the next week or so).

But yes, definitely don't send any money to someone you've never met, you can guarantee it's not going to the girl with the photo on the sugar site.

Usually, photos have to be approved or checked, and putting your number will probably just get it declined. I'm sure the girls posting "Don't have a paid membership, DM me your number" would have figured this out before if worked :)
