He's already claiming he's going to keep the tariffs and increase the tariffs an extra 10%....

so the Trump tarrifs are not going away any time real soon
however the U.S. supreme court has handed Canada a huge amount of leverage in this dispute
and leverage is what Trump knows and understands very well

Canada's Supply Management system will be viewed as unfair trade practices in the U.S., independent of how Canadians view Supply Management.
specially Dairy

in the end to get a deal, we will need to open our market up to US Dairy >>> lower prices for Canadian families who are getting hammer by food inflation
Lol, honestly it won't matter. Canadians are not going to buy their shit hormone laced products anyway. We can just increase safety standards if we have to.

Trump is going to need a win soon, he has too much going on. A war in Iran about to happen, a migrant crisis about to happen in Florida from Cuba. Epstein escalating. More defections as his losses mount.

Thats just the tip of his problems.

He's kissing their ass while slagging them at the same time.
I just saw a bit. He basically called them RINO'S and traitors. To what is supposed to be an impartial court that is a deadly insult. Hopefully he keeps it up on social media.

How much do you wanna bet Trump doesnt start a war with Iran during his term??
Define war. He just moved as much fire power as they did the last two Iraq wars. And just as importantly moved out civilians and families from the region. So unless this is the biggest all in bluff in history shots will be fired. Iran has already said no go to Israel's demands in talks.

Basically in doing this three things can happen imo.

Iran gives up. I think they realize this isn't an option now.

An attack happens. Maybe first strike, maybe US false flag starts it. And then shit will get bad

Trump TACOS.

I can't predict Trump at this point. Because he only does things if he things it BENEFITS him. So right now his losses are mounting, and pressure is increasing. Does a war help him? Politically? Or does he lose more MAGA over it?

Also to the one;s he appointed said their families should be ashamed or something like that. I could only imagine the vile threats that will be coming to them from the "non-violent" MAGA twats.

He already said he has a back up plan, who knows what he's going to come up with.
He can impose some for up to 150 days, and a few other limited options. But everyone knows they are limited. And the pressure from businesses is about to rise considerably n

I believe he needs Congress's approval and based on the last vote, I don't think he would get it.

Last I saw he would need that approval to EXTEND them beyond the 150 days. Pretty sure that is what this 10% new threat is under. He has signed it yet so let's see if he has another TACO Tuesday

The the 35% on non-CUSMA goods, and the ones on potash, energy etc are gone. So that's good.
Oh, it's good. But I believe there's now only 11% of goods that are crossing the border that aren't CUSMA compliant, so the impact is limited. This ruling is a much bigger break for countries other than Canada and Mexico.
