OK I'll bite. What is DDLG?
Btw no offense, but I much prefer texting while booking, and even when just kibbitzing with the few ladies I communicate with apart from our sessions. A voice call can be problematic when I'm at home with other family members around, and can become endless...
When texting is part of the choices you make, that's fine. In my personal case typing is painful, and texting unbearable. But even before that texting creates a window of incompetence service and bad social interaction.
When a SP made time and effort to make a space for her work to talk to her clients she has put a lot of effort and organization in creating a good experience. When an SP is just maximizing her availability and personal convince she thinking like a mega corp where is all about the numbers. I saw the same drop in service with the rise of voice mail (where well all wait hours to get to a person or even the right touch tone service) and the same rise of dehumanizing service is occurring. Those sps who added text and email to their service as a convince where thinking about custmoer service - a great attitude. Those who remove options - are chosing other priorities. Its like the banks, in Japan for years you took a number, sat down with a coffe and read a paper until you are called to see her bank teller. It took a virus to get sit down service. Is it efficient? It is cost effective? No, but is wonderful. I still wonder at my first day of royal service from Japan banks. The manger even did house calls so I didin have to make a trip to the ATM! Even Japan Mcdonalds had food brought to your table - a wonderful service minded culture - a culture that only treats hand written CV seroiusly (if you did't take the time to hand write it, you don't want the job). Service, in all its levels is an art form. I see artists, not factory workers. (Not to say there is not a joy in the factory experience as an experience - and ever fetish is different so there a market for every type in theory)
Voice mail plus people great. Voice mail by itself , pure garbage.
Texting and voice calls, amazing- calling by itself great, texting by itself pure garbage.
Anyone who dosn;t want my patronage that's fine. I heard you loud and clear. My favorite girl, gone forever. I will miss her. And yes, shes good and that will not change. But the mere situation she will switch, and make no provisions for me, means my biz is not worth her time. If I get no loyalty back I show no loyalty. And I am extremely loyal - in the case of Kaili a spa girl I called ever week to get her (she was just a ghost I am pretty sure) and turned down all other girls till I realized she was just a ghost profile - her free lancing more of a myth.
For some texting is a plus and amazing. As I said, as one option its great. My side of the market will not be served, and some will not know it even existed (and thus, some will never get into the hobby true it a few times an disappear)
Will this be like the call books and call girls of yesteryear ? Where only a fraction of the market was not willing to move on? Or more like the playboy clubs closing and new sub markets created in their place? Who knows. Certainly those with textual issues will disappear if this continues. Since many youth actually have phone phobia the text market might grow but there are signs that this group is so anti-social seeing an sp in person would be horrifying - which is where I think the market is headed. Certainly my younger friends are amazed at my "game" which is just average for my generation.
Anyway its almost over and I enjoy it while it still exists. Agencies still do phone for now for a year or two.
PS its like the jelly bean rider in a rock concert for those in the know.
