Vladdy is hobbling..Bo can't run and Springer is down...And they still can't be stopped.

Impressive stuff I must say.

I was streaming the American broadcast and they were saying that Schneider told them that Springer is feeling better and might come back...I'm thinking from what I saw this is disinformation though...Let's see.
The American (Fox) broadcast is also the one that said Roberts told them he was going to put a position player to pitch in the 18 inning game. More Fox disinformation.

The jays won't beat Yamamoto so they have to win tonight. I didn't get pulling lukes even on a leftie. I sure hope he gets a 3 year contract, he was gonna retire before this year i believe. He just past 1 million in career earnings this year at 31, grinding it out in the minors. Love to see him get rewarded.

Tired of myles strawful, and kiner felawful.

Vladdy was overdue and simply had to hit a Homer as a response to ohtani.

Vladdy really was overdue, he's not quite worth his contract just yet. He needs to put away a few more of those.

there is no home-field advantage in playoffs

there is in regular season because you play the bad teams at home in playoffs there is no bad team

Concerning game 7 with Yamamoto

if there is a game 7 all pitchers are available to stretch out the pen , while Dodgers get the same benefit

the jays will benefit the most as they will not have their ace starting

also Jays will be seeing yamatoto second time

but we have our 2 aces in the next two games, but that means we will have to win 3 in a row to stop game 7

3 in a row against the Dodgers ? what are the odds?

the real ohanti should be back tonight as he was tired and pitching and when he did get on base he refused to run hard as he was hurting

so back to walking him tonight, but he has 2 future hall of famers behind him
so you pitch to him if no one is on. As he bats first you definitely pitch to him at least once

Dodgers top of the order is best in MLB, our bottom of the order is best in MLB

looks like our batting lineup is superior

Their starters are superior

With Bassitt, our relief is superior as neither club has great relief

Our defense is superior

Management has no strong advantage but an edge to Schnieder

These are 2 even clubs even with our 3 hitting stars injured in springer, Bo and Santander

it has come down to the Dodgers getting the good fortune of winning the one close game
as it was a toss up. I thought it was going to be the other way around - our only chance was to win the close games.

I think Yamamoto is due for a bad outing. Just putting that out there.

Did Vlady give himself a Charlie Horse pivoting back to 3rd. Had he gone for home plate it may have cost the Jays two runs if he was picked of. That pivot looked awkward, he probably took an ice bath after the game.

If the Jays should prevail it will be a monumental achievement, the LA Dodgers are the only team in MLB to have a billion dollar revenue stream.

Enough can't be said about the performance of Chris Bassitt out of the bullpen. His work has been outstanding. Wouldn't that be some radical move to give him the World Series MVP if the Jays win.

It will (hopefully) be an interesting discussion. If Yesavage wins tonight, he would get some MVP votes. Vladdy would get votes, too. Still have 3 games left to finish writing the story.
