We made 20 outs in a row (nearly 7 innings worth). You can't really execute small ball against a pitcher when you never get a runner on base.

In the first inning when we threatened (and that was one of the two innings), it was 1st and 3rd with Vlad up. You can't play small ball there.

I know pitchers can have off games but I saw nothing that would lead me to believe they could beat Yamamoto in game 6. They may have to win 2 in los Angeles. I'd like to see basset get a start somewhere.

this is the WS and this was third time through games most dangerous lineup so pull him.

But that is only if you can trust the pen which Schnieider decided he cannot do so my point was

i agreed with the call to leave him in because of the weakness of our pen

How often are bunts used by any team and how often are they successful. Remember Otis Nixons bunt against the jays, how'd that go? The bunt has to be perfect and the runner fast. People that have no clue about baseball always bring up bunt, bunt are only ever successful when moving someone over. Even then they have to be perfect.

Bieb's must be used to the tough assignment, he goes against Ohtani. It's easy to see what Schneider is doing, Scherzer,s intensity for G3 followed by cool as a cucumber Bieb's for G4.

There doesn't appear to be much hatred between the cities. Rush has sold out all three shows at the LA Forum. Neil Peart lived out his final years in Santa Monica.

If we ended up losing World Series, it is entirely the manager John Schneider's fault. He just said for geme 3 we are gloing to be all hqnds on deck. Is he crazy? For World Series, every game must be all hands on deck. We lost game 2 because he didn't put Bo Bischelle on and we ended up losing. Bo could easity hit a couple of home runs and save grame 2.
