Me too. I love bluesy rock, and if you throw in a bit of raunchy slide guitar I'm in heaven...

I would,t say del shannon sings Doo Wop.....but its never a bad time to listen to his music. had a string of hits in the 60,s...he had his issues.....eventually he took his own life...sad, very sad

The article said he's not pure Doo wop , more rock and roll but he incorporated doo wop in some of his songs. Poor guy

Don't know if this qualifies as Doo Wop, there is a story behind it. I spent several hours within Charlemagne's Cathedral in Aachen. Thirsty as hell when I left, walked to the nearest beerhall. This is what was playing, never forgot it.
