I saw some stats once that listed South Korea as the country that buys the most booze per capita. That may be so, but a lot of Russians make their own booze.

My guess would have been the Czech Republic but they were #3 on the list. Those Romanians are drunkards, wow. Interesting that Ireland didn't crack the top 25 especially since they have a holiday that is devoted to drinking.

I have to say I'm a little disappointed in us Canadians. We didn't even make the top 30. It's obvious we need to try harder.

I'd like to see how they calculate consumption. By my math, 17L works out to about 11 drinks a week. I definitely have a problem!

More like two bottles of wine. But I can do that in a day

Eastern Europe are the heaviest drinkers. They love their vodka, even the Poles have their own Vodka that they keep in the freezer

My guess was Germany.

My German family are all heavy drinkers, many alcoholics.

I was close, Germany came in at #5.
