But here is what actually happens in the US.
You call around, find a doctor, make sure they are "in network", get on their waitlist, and finally go see them, and they treat you.
Then insurance denies your request.
Furthermore, they see that you have a serious chronic illness, so they start an "investigation" into your account, and find that you did not report, something as innocuous as "acne" in your medical history.
So they CANCEL you insurance for fraud and you go broke trying to pay for medical care.
Eventually you give up and just die early.
Yeah, I will take Canada any day of the week where you get care when you need it, even if some procedures require some extra waiting.
