A couple of things bugging me.

There was a episode (could be the pilot) where fleet assembled that affected Cylons due to some form of radiation. It didn't seem to affect Tigh or Tyrol?

There was some sort of killer Cylon virus (A measure of Salvation). I guess Tigh or Tyrol never came in contact with them? I can't remember if Tyrol or Tigh might have been around the contaminated crew. (Tyrol is around just about every-time a ship lands.)

I don't remember the small details of these episodes. Maybe the final 5 are new improved models that aren't affected by radiation. I can't remember how well the killer Cylon virus was well contained.

If anyone remembers I would appreciate any ideas.

They do have to get from the Resurrection Ship back to whatever Basestar they were on. Presumably they have a few centurions guarding the airlock / door to get back in.

In any case, the last episode was interesting. The Cylons lobotomizing the worker bees was a curious parallel - humans created the Cylons (as worker bees) who then revolted. Now worker bee Cylons are revolting against other Cylons who created them.

I guess in this season we'll likely see that Cylons and humans aren't really so different after all; Cylons have real emotions, they have faults just like humans ...
Exactly. Kind of Animal Farm like isn't it.

Free Will can be a bitch.

I can't dispute the married part, but why do you say she's half brain dead?
I'm not saying it isn't true -- I honestly don't know one way or the other -- but I'm curious why you say this.
Ask her what her favourite episode is, and her answer explains it (she only remembers a few scenes, so she's not really into it). It was much like asking a Supermodel what kind of leaf is on the Canadian Flag, or how many stars on the American Flag and then not knowing the answer.

Additionally, her role as Boomer, sagged as the show continued from a kick-butt fighter, hot anime chick, to a girl that has to get laid and take care of a baby. Ridiculous. Then she's in with a K-Guy in real life, so no beaver there.

Massive potential in Grace Park. Massive. Beyond what's currently known. But, no one is providing any confidence as a mentor to her.

As to the radiation theory, I think you are right. Tigh was not around, but Chief Tyrol was right in the thick of it, he was supervising the loading of supplies on Galactica. It was in the 1st season. The Cylon played by Callum Keith Rennie was locked in the weapons vault when they left, after trying to kill Adama. He couldn't in his weakened state. The only reason I could think of is that Chief Tyrol was not exposed long enough to have any symptoms.

As for the virus....isolation protocol was in place before the Galactica boarding party returned to Galactica.

I also think that's were the series is headed....with more "skin jobs" switching sides and joining the colonists.

yup, looks like there's dissention on both sides......kind of strange that they were actually trying to kill off the six models by attacking them with no ressurrection ship nearby......

I KNOW they didn't achieve that goal, that plot line would be dead if they did....

Starbuck got the shit fucked out of her by her cylon husband.. (I liked how she said.. "I just want to frak!") Lol!

And too bad that girl got shot out into space. How come her body didn't turn inside out? Her baby is half cylon right?

As predicted by "moi", the Cylon Civil war has now started. Brother Cavil dupes Six into thinking he has swayed the other members of the Cylon council into "unboxing" the D'Anna model, and then he lures her ship into a trap and attacks it. Whether it's been destroyed is unclear. I guess Cylons are not much "better" than the humans that created them. Also...Centurions like to be asked politely now...."please" is a key word.

Cally finds out that her husband (Chief Tyrol) is a Cylon. This totally unhinges her, and she attempts to commit suicide with her baby in an airlock. Tory finds her, manages to get the baby away from her, and then shows Cylon strength by backhanding her halfway across the airlock. By the time Cally recovers, she's alone in the airlock, and Tory blows her out of the airlock to keep the secret safe. Tory also has lustful designs on Chief Tyrol, but it's unclear whether he has slept with her or not. Now that Tory has found out she's a Cylon, she thinks it's spelled S*L*U*T*....but it seems all the Cylon females aren't hesitant to use "it" to get what they want

Lee Adama is finding out that politics is a blood sport. The Pres embarasses him at his first Quorem meeting, but he turns the table on her by revealing information given to him by Tom Zarek that she is planning to sneak a motion through giving her almost unlimited judicial and political power. If looks could kill, the Pres would be throwing people out of airlocks left, right, and center.

Starbuck has been given a ship and some viper pilots and told to find Earth. She's becoming more and more unhinged, and her and Anders have some "hate" sex. She detests him now, but he's such a big, whipped puppy dog with no self esteem he pretends not to notice. Maybe he wants to see if she's a Cylon, and they can have "Cylon" sex.....dunno on that one....don't their spinal cords "glow" when having sex? That would be a big giveaway, doncha think? Who needs a fancy, expensive Cylon detector....just turn the lights off and start making the beast with two backs....

In case anyone is reading this and wonders what and who the hell were talking about, here's a link to reveal all.
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0407362/fullcredits

I think tonight was a "set-up" episode....ok...but will be referred to later on as more plot lines become revealed.

Also...has anyone noticed that the number of "survivors" listed in the opening theme changes from week to week? And the theme song is different from the first season?

The reason the number keeps changing is because, well it does. People are born and die as with any population.

Now, can anyone fill me in on what happened to Hera? Boomer's baby? I can't remember much about her other than boomer finding out she was still alive even though the humans told her she was dead.....

Sharon had Helo kill her, so that she could be re-born (or whatever the correct expression is) on the Cylon spaceship and rescue the baby.

She got the baby on the Cylon ship and then escaped with the help of Number Six. When she and Number Six returned to the Galactica spaceship, Number Six was arrested and put in the brig.

----

As far as last night's episode went, I enjoyed all of it except the Lee Adama storyline. In his case, it almost feels like they have run out of things for him to do.

Hey Mfan, I knew all that but we haven't seen hide nor hair of Hera since she returned to the ship.

This is one of the things that does really bug me about series like this. So, whatever happened to the six in the brig? Why don't they finish with that plot line before starting yet another? Same as hera, wth was the point in bringing her back to the human fleet if she's just going to grow old and die never to be seen or heard from again?

I've got to stop reading this thread due to all the spoilers from my perspective. I don't want to watch season 4 till it comes out on DVD.

If Kara Thrace turns out to be a Ceylon though, I imagine it's going to make it's way onto CNN news or someone on Terb will start a thread that says "Kara Thrace is a Ceylon".
C'est la vie.

Good point. I have no idea what happened to the baby since. I'm assuming Boomer didn't bring the baby with her on this Starbuck-led ship that is looking for Earth.

By the way, am I the only one who thinks Tory's slutty new attitude is a good thing?

I think I've had a revelation.

The 12th Cylon is not a "skin job" model at all.

It's a "super" Centurion model.

I say this because all the original Cylons were mechanical creations of man. "They" rebelled against their human creators. This rebellion must have been led by one of the mechanical Cylons, who had been given "free thought" by it's human creators. The "skin jobs" were created to infiltrate the humans by the mechanical Cylons, and destroy them from within. But....they've been "created" too well. They've taken on too many human characteristics as part of their programming. There fighting amongst themselves. And the Hybrids (who I believe are the human creators of the Cylons, taken during the rebellion) are not babbling when they say things like "all this has happened before" and "what once was, will be again" and other statements to that effect.

I also find it interesting that in this "reimagining" of BSG, the mechanical Cylons are never heard to "speak", unlike the original series. I wonder if there will be a "breakthrough" episode where we will hear the mechancial Centurion speak....they may well, since they've now been given "free will" by Six. Anyone notice that the last scene of this episode showed a mechanical Centurion "tilting" his head, as if to say "Oh yeah...we'll see about that".

Boffo...I was going to do the same as you and wait for DVD, as I hate commercials, and having to watch on a schedule, and not being able to go back and watch again, but since it's the last season, I figured there would be no way I would be able to avoid hearing about the ending.

I also think Tory is hot piece of "slutty" brown Cylon ass.

CL: you may be on to something with your hypothesis. I could see that happening and yeah, I noticed the clean up cylon paying attention lol....I kind of thought, oh shit....there goes the neighbourhood!!! As you say, the centurians rebelling against the skin jobs could and probably is on the horizon.

That would lead the faction of Sixes etc joining with the humans to fight the others and the centurians....

I just hope they don't BS down whatever they're planning with too much soap opera....that gets old REALLY fast.

Nope, she's one nice peace of gear.

Now that she's blown Tyrol's whiney wife Callie out of the airlock, look for her to be doing a little cylon cylon jiggy jiggy soon.
