Is anyone interperting that Kara Thrace is the harbinger of death for the Cylons, rather than the humans? That she will lead them to the end of their journey and find Earth?
Hey, does anyone have a quick link to friday's episode? I totally forgot to watch it (or even PVR it). Goes to show you how much I've lost interest in this show due to the long long long story lines.

If you look up harbinger it really only means messenger (not like instrument of death) so it really isn't a big a deal as all that. It could mean a lot of things... Why wouldn't you have a raptor or sewage ship jump ahead to talk to the fleet before jumping in the baseship/basestar?
(I know it was suppose to happen at the same time but what was the big hurry?)

Is Felix a really good singer or is he lip syncing? Does everyone on the show that goes on pain killers all of sudden have to come up with a new riddle/visions? If so can I get some?

If someone pulled a gun on any other "ambassador" wouldn't security have put themselves between the person with the gun and person being threatened? It isn't like they didn't have time.
Basestar jumping away was cool and was unexpected for me. The concept of self-heeling ship is also cool.
Does the "harbinger of death" really mean Starbuck is the key to the event of taking out the Cylon resurrection network/hub? (Side note: being smart machines why wouldn't they have a backup hub?)

Tigh get exposed as a cylon (or is he just arguing with Adama about something else)??? His wife is back from the dead? The six is still alive (scene with here and the doctor.)?

Actually, just jokin' with ya....but there were several posters on other BSG forums who are sure Ron Moore got her to do a cameo.
I think we can safely say that the meaning behind the "Kara Thrace is the harbinger of death" will be her role in destroying the "Hub" ship (the mother of all Resurrection ships)....once that ship is destroyed, all Cylons lose the ability to download after death. And won't that be a bummer for them....makes them almost completely human, knowing there's no second chance.
What is a real bummer is no BSG on the weekend of May 23-25. SciFi and the Space channel here in Canada are making us wait, not even showing a re-run. There only 3 new episodes left before the series goes on hiatus while filming the final 10 episodes.

episode 7- Guess What's Coming To Dinner (last night)
episode 8- Sine Qua Non
episode 9- The Hub
episode 10- Revelations (airs June 13th)(which is also a Friday the 13th)
Reruns of Season 4, Part 1 begin on June 17th, which is a Tuesday.
The final 10 episodes(shouldn't they make it 12 or 13 episodes to dovetail in with the shows fascination with those numbers?) will begin airing in January 2009. A lot of fans are pissed off that there will be that long a break, with some speculating that the reason for the long break is so that Universal can milk us for more money when they release the DVD's (Season 4.0 & 4.5)
There is also a lot of speculation about three BSG movies being released straight to DVD AFTER the final episode of Season 4.5. These would be "backfill" episodes (like Razor)...possibly about the Galactica before the 2nd Cylon attack, but after the 1st Cylon war. They may well tie in with the premiere of the new series Caprica.....life on Caprica before the Cylon war. I guess it depends on the availability of the cast, and the cost.
As for last nights episode, the major plot point was Athena shooting the Natalie 6....much like Cally shot Boomer, and Boomer shot Adama. I think Galactica needs a gun law!!! Laughing And the cliffhanger was the base ship "jumping" away with the Pres. Baltar, Starbuck, etc once the hybrid was "plugged" back in. Meanwhile, spoilers from next episode show Natalie 6 on the operating table.
And what's with Gaeta's singing? Posters on other BSG boards are going wild trying to analyze the lyrics, and looking for plot spoilers. There's even a poll thread on whether you think Gaeta has a good singing voice.
Anyway....gotta go and watch some hockey....I'm on "nerd" overload...

By the way, at this point, it’s not known when those last 10 episodes of "Battlestar" will air. Informed sources say that a decision on that won’t get made until mid-summer, so my guess is that Sci Fi won’t the final 10 episodes until 2009.

Loved the last episode btw.
I was suprised when 6 said that the final 5 were in the fleet. For a while there I was figuring that the 5'th cylcon was Adama's wife, which makes Lee a Hybrid.
Still haven't quite figured out the significance of Laura Roslin's visions in the opera house.
Gaeta is a pretty good singer, but I guess that tap dancing will be out of the equation for him.
Losing a leg is a bummer, but I think he needs to get over it already.

5) Once again the Marines on BSG show that they're completely useless when it comes to protecting principals.
6) I wonder why the Cylons can't call off the Centurions? I know the Centurions have independent will now, but I wonder what prevents the Cylons from asking them to back down from Plan A?

I believe the explanation was that the Demitrios needed to do the navigating. Of course, this doesn't particularly explain why the Basestar made the jump successfully while the Demitrios didn't initially.

As for the scheduling, I'm sure all decisions are motivated by money. DVD release(s) for one. Some have even suggested that the 3 BSG movies being contemplated along with Razor give the producers enough (85 discrete episodes) to put the series into syndication...a huge money maker. (the pilot, 4 seasons at 20 episodes per season, Razor movie, and three new "movies" give you 85)
I also agree on the marines. There should have been several little red laser dots right on Athena's head the moment she pulled the gun.....perhaps they hesitated because they were escorting a Cylon.
As for the Centurion Cylons....I'm still thinking we are going to hear them speak soon, and it will be a major plot turning point.
