Thanks. The episode leaves more questions then it answers...
LOL, dont' expect any answers until the very last episode then (like Lost) don't expect them then either.......this whole show has now fallen into that trap: rarely does anything get resolved, they just pose new questions without clearly answering any preexisting ones.....

I wasn't really expecting any answers midway through the season. I was just commenting on the episode without adding any spoilers in the thread for fans that are waiting until Friday.

I do expect then to close the story lines by the end of the series but I could always be wrong. I know they are trying to add a couple of "movies" to the series but from what I have read they would be more along the lines of Razor and don't have anything to do with the outcome of the series.

It's interesting that in the pre-season 4 teaser they showed a second or two with 2 other battlestars, yet we still have to see them.

Without trying to post comments that could be construed as spoilers, the storyline(s) really seems to be spreading in a lot of directions with key characters in new places. The potentials are interesting now that the players have shuffled around a little but one wonders if it was all really necessary.

One part of this season that is totally lame is Apollo the Politician.

Did Jamie Bamber pee in someone's cheerios to be basically written out of the show and even when he is on, his scenes are totally forgetable and he's quite the whiner.

He was MUCH better when he had a cock and balls.

I think it is called character development. One would think he has to go from fighting with his viper to fighting with his mind as a politician. His character seemed to have enough balls in the showdown scene.

While that may be true, where the writers failed was when he was all agast that the prez and adama didn't inform everyone of their plans with the cylon renegade ship.

I mean, keeping your plans secret is number 1 in the military manual but seems he forgot that when he put on his new hat......

Titian, Hades, and Prometheus rumors say it was a hoax put up by a fan or fans (or rogue BSG techs). Since the trailer shows the battle that started season IV and there were no additional battlestars in that episode it could well be a hoax. We will have to wait until next year to know for sure.

A few things I didn't get after last night's episode:

1. Caprica Six is preggers. Ok, who's the dad? If Tigh is a cylon, he can't impregnate another cylon, so either he's NOT a cylon (which would make sense) or she' s banging a guard (which would also make sense)

2. Did Caprica Six resurect?

3. What's the deal with the cat? Was it some sort of imaginary cat that was an allusion to Baltar's Lawyer's family? Or was there really a cat that someone killed? Just not sure about that one.

Final five are different then the others. With all the talk of Gods and stuff immaculate conception can't be rule out. ;)

It didn't look like it but anything is possible on BSG

He was carrying the dead cat in the gym bag. During the episode Lampkin was seeing the cat in his head like Baltar see 6, ..

Hey, not sure if anyone else posted this yet or not, but I figured out the "harbinger of death" statement:

Starbuck ends up destroying the central hub so in essence, brings death to all the skinjobs.......aka harbinger of death.

You know what, I didn't get the dead cat part either. I'm glad hunter001 explained it.

Great episode last night. I'm going to have to watch it again this evening.
I usually try to stay positive about the episodes but I really didn't like this one. The whole Baltar chatting up the centurion was good for a laugh but got kind of boring after awhile. Getting a little tired of all the vision and the teasing of the 5th cylon. I wish they would just get on with the story.

I will watch it again, maybe I will like it more instead of getting annoyed.

I rather get the feeling that BSG has lost a bit of its stride these past few episodes. Its as though they are trying to stretch it out until the end of season 4 sometime next year.

There are still many unresolved bits - Hera, Nicky, Tigh, Tori, the Chief and Anders that they really ought to move on with. It would also be nice to have final resolution on the Starbuck / Leobin thread. This whole philosophical "what is it to be human" thing is important, but it can be interwoven with the other threads as opposed to devoting more or less complete episodes to.

I watched it again. It was a little less annoying but the Roselin thing just reminded me a Christmas Scrooge story and the visit by the Christmas future.

The damn hybrid seems more chatty just after they unplug her. Maybe they should try that.

It sure was a time/plot saver to have "three" already resurrected.

Helo is 6'4" and pretty well put together but if he is breaking the deal why not call some freaking 8' centurions (fracking killing machines) to make sure he honors the deal?

If the Sharron on rebel Base Star is the "same as Athena" where the frack was she when Athena was on the Base Star and calling out the rest of the 8's for not picking a side and staying with it.

The cylons at the hub knew there was a rebel base ship floating around and the other two base stars protecting the hub did nothing to put themselves between the rebel base star the hub. When the they nuked the hub instead of jumping away the base stars just stayed around so they could be blown up as well.
