Do some research on the statistics on violence and sexual assault against women, better yet, ask some female friends about their experiences. Most men will be shocked to realize how commonly women are victimized. Then see if you if you think women have the social advantage. Let's not even talk about the conditions women live under in the developing world.

Most men who are killed or attacked are attacked by other men. As for suicide stats, (assuming they're accurate) that just proves men are dumber than women. Women commit more child abuse most likely because they take on more of the burden of child-rearing, with single mom's especially skewing the numbers.

I therefore posit that in at least some cases, male feminism is a mating strategy for men who aren’t getting laid on the virtues of being men alone. So they switch gears and attempt to get laid on the merits of proclaiming to be feminist “allies.” The “allies” thing is all lies. It is a sneaky way of trying to appeal to women by loudly proclaiming that you hate the type of guy who normally appeals to women. I believe the most reasonable explanation for the very existence of the modern “male feminist” is rooted in evolutionary biology: Calling oneself a male feminist is a deceptive and despicable little shame-dance, a pathetic self-puffing mating ritual that beta male lizards do to garner even a scrap of female attention.

For the sake of my sanity - please understand that putting a link to a news article and saying anything along the lines of 'a study was done' is incorrect.
The actual research must be evaluated (journal articles, data, etc.)
Often times the news article misreports the material in the study or presents an undeserving weight on questionable results. Just because a journalist writes something down doesn't mean it's accurate - many times it's an incorrect interpretation of results.

Interesting. Plenty of Canadian women intrigue me sexually. But very few intrigue me for long term relationships.
I'm not a feminist, far from it. As for emasculated: you don't know me. If you weren't interested in getting laid you wouldn't be on this site, neither would I, so don't pretend it doesn't matter. I never said getting laid made you masculine either, it's just a very pleasant fringe benefit. I speak from personal experience.
Assuming all the men complaining on this thread have a point, in many cases I'm sure they do: Life is'nt always fair, put "girl problems" up there with death and taxes and get over it.

An interesting history lesson.
It turns out that complete sexual freedom and gender equality leads to the breakdown in society's most coveted institution - marriage/family. I suspect many people past and present foresaw this outcome, and it's the reason why sexual freedom and gender equality were hard fought battles. The war has been won and and we will now suffer decades of cultural PTSD.
While things are far from perfect, I can honestly say there is no other era I'd rather live in than now. What will be, will be.
But likely wrong.
Most men buy the monster houses to please themselves and to play one-upmanship with their colleague and acquaintances. I know of no man who has bought a monster house because he was afraid of a divorce. On the contrary, if a wife threatens her husband with divorce, the last thing he'll do is buy a monster house.
That one upmanship exists in nature as well. Its purpose is to attract females. Mos guys who wear expensive watches or drive fancy cars aren't enthusiasts.
