As awful as this video is, I had to wonder where they got the black guy to act in this movie. I mean, did they lie and tell him the movie was about something else? If I was him, I'd sue the heck out of the person/people who made this.
That was quite sickening, and watching Maury as we speak..... But is it just me, but you wont see that many asians, atleast in North America, commit such crimes.
IMHO, it would seem to me that since the majority of dating is still intra-racial, date rape drugs would most likely be used by an offender of the same race.abstinent said:

There's nothing questionable about the video images as such. Guy meets girl, takes her out for a drink, they go to a motel room, are implied to have sex, and he leaves. She is then seen holding a pillow -- alone. It is generic enough to mean anything.
The background song is also not questionable as such. The singer is waxing on how supposed criminals seem to get away with their crimes and how "we" should be hanging everyone "we" find. There are no definitive references (that I heard) tying the song to the video feed or being overtly racist.
I suspect that YouTube would allow this video to stand if those two elements were all there is to consider because, though combined they are suggestive of a racist position, it is not definite. You can't help but notice the intent. The possibility of other interpretations would still be there however.
What puts this over the edge of acceptable is the typically over-the-top, in-your-face, text that makes clear the racist intent of the video and music -- for their inbred audience that probably wouldn't get it otherwise. Adding the text closes off any alternate interpretations that might exist. I assume YouTube will get a complaint about this content and remove it.
The most amusing feature of this trash was the implied acceptance of the feminist notion date rape. It would seem that the Aryan Nation has found common ground with the Femi-Nazis.

If I had the time I'd check those stats at the end. If they are accurate then there's not one thing wrong with that video.

A leader of the Black community screamed foul when the police released the stat that something like 60% of the crimes in the city were committed by people in his community.
If those stats ARE correct, then that video should be played in every senior public school in the city, and during every PTA meeting, and to every highschooler in every city. It might make some girls think twice about going out with a creep (white or black) and what can happen if you aren't on guard......

OK, so, like I said: if the stats are correct, how is this racist? If the guy was white, and the stats reflected the same results except the perp was white, would that be racist?
For eg: the RAINN site reports that 52% of all rapists are white. Is that racist?
Just because a bit of information points out what could be a problem area and that area alludes to the black population, why is it automatically racist? If it is a problem then it should be dealt with via education. This way, maybe people would get upset at the statistics and take measures to stop it (ie: teach their kids to respect women, teach them right from wrong, to wear condoms ALWAYS, etc).

The reason why there was outcry was because the media was trying to turn this into a "black/white" issue. When they release stats like that its used to turn people against the blacks...because they know that your average person doesnt have the ability to look at them as simple stats and not let it affect how they treat an entire group.tboy said:

The problem may be that many blacks live in areas where the psycho-social elements are more condusive to promoting this kind of behavior. Yet that wouldn't be because of the color of their skin, it would be because of the psycho-social elements present.tboy said:
