blowing in the girls ear that sat in front of me, shooting spit balls through my pen at the class bully, tripping the teachers when they come down the aisle, skipping class to go to the pool hall, giving wedges to the younger guys, sneaking into the girls dressing room, ringing peoples door bells and running away, stealing pop from the corner store. :p

Reading books, comics (Tintin, Archie), playing with friends, watching cartoons (Spider-Man, Robotech, Scooby Doo, Heidi), tv.

Those were the good days, I wish I could stay forever 8.

I'm 29 now and facing these problems:

-unemployment (LOSER in society's eyes)
-no car, no money, no girlfriend, no friends, no life
-constantly worried about how I'm going to pay next month's rent
-living in a tiny bachelor aparthment in a crack-whore enviornment
-rejection by a girl, dumped as a friend by the same girl (see my post "stood up by a female friend")
-rejected for a job as a telemarketer
-rejected for a spot as human guinea pig
-depression, fatigue
-inability to get an erection so that I can jerk off
-failing health, thinning hair
-general sense of worthlessness
-turning 30 in five months

Every kid stole something from the corner store in grades 1-3! There are only two kinds of people: those who can remember and/ or admit to it, and those who can't. Usually it's candy. We stole stuff we didn't even like. It was about demonstrating a skill and bragging rights.

Also, just about every guy tried to sneak or peek into the girls change room at some point - even guys who grew up to be gay.

These are normal experimenting behaviours for children. If you are still stealling after the age of 10 or 11, then you have a problem. Otherwise, it's just practicing a primeval survival skill.

Most of what I learned that is useful I learned from these three of my favourite things at age 5.

The little plastic parachuter with the flimsy plastic as a parachute
Hillarious House of Frankenstein
Toast with Cream Cheese.

When I think of my childhood days, Barbies definitely come to mind. Iw as absolutely obsessed with playing Barbies...making houses for them, picking out their clothes, doing their hair...I even had a camper for them and a Royals Royce... I had all the New Kids On the Block doll and every 90210 doll (Beverly hills) I would invite my liitle girlfriends over and we would play Barbies all day long.............gotta love those days.
other hobbies were....Nintendo, POGS, marbles at recess, and playing with friends hair( french braids and all that other stuff) oh...and can't forget skipping...double dutch was the best.

Ahhh...nostalgia lists...

K, here is mine:

STP racers, adidas bags, cougar boots, star wars "action figures" - don't call em dolls! evel keneval, thats incredible, hockey skates with the all steel blade, steel playground sets that taught you to keep your head up when you were playing tag (an important survival skill, I feel somewhat lost on the youth that get the soft plastic and wood sets) full crushed gravel on the playground, mx bikes with shocks, mike palmeteer and lanny mcdonald and that joyeous day that changed everything for me at 12 - discovering used porn stashed in the creek by my house. I still get a hard on when I smell wet, used magazine paper. LOL

Oh, and for that guy who is having a hard time with life right now and is about to turn 30. Stop picking on him. Dude, here is what you do: get a couple of shitty jobs, save your $, get about 8k in the bank and then buy a one way ticket to thailand and spend a year learning how to surf and travel over there. you are in a great position to pick up and go - no wife and kids nothing holding you down. go and enjoy yourself and learn what it is like to not be a slave to an alarm clock. you might even find yourself while you are at it.
