When you are in such close contact with a person as you are when having sex, not kissing them is unlikely to protect you that much from getting a cold etc.

Kissing is an absolute must for me. It the sp is not kissing me the way I like to be kissed it's a bad session for me. my immune system is very good , and I am above average healthy for a 41 year old, im just saying the last few encounters I would have what they are having having, Covid , Strep throat , cold etc , hygene has gone down , and guys visit sp's when they are sick , and kissing has contributed obviously to catching what they have, not sure why you would call bullshit on my story when I felt like sharing while lying with a fever in bed, and saying making up stories is weird when I am just sharing facts about me and the situation , you know nothing about me and in no position to judge and make up answers about me on your own
I think the reason it reads as more likely a "you problem" is that many of us kiss routinely and don’t get sick. Not to boast, but it’s probably safe to say I kiss quite a lot more people than you on a regular basis, including other sex workers. And yet I don’t get any more colds than I did before I was a sex worker. In fact, I can’t remember my last cold (knock on wood!). If I was to estimate, I get maybe one cold year.
I really don’t think this is luck. I think it’s the fact that I have a strong immune system and then also go out of my way to boost it. I use Listerine religiously and all you need to do is read the studies to know that it works!
I’m sorry you're under the weather but hope you take this commentary more sincerely as getting regularly sick can be a sign that your body is crashing or there could be something else in your environment creating a chronic condition. Maybe you think you’re in perfect health but the fact that you are catching viruses so easily demonstrates you’re not. The rest of us are just not catching colds every time we kiss.
Let’s not add to stigma in this community. One of the easiest ways to catch a virus is on a plane and yet I don’t see many people wearing masks. That would probably be a more obvious thing to lobby f the goal is to prevent spreading colds.
