They've been systematically going through cases for years now.
Not everyone has been arrested, from what I understand and of course everyone arrested wasn't charged and everyone charged wasn't arrested.
All quite normal.
As for what Trump had to do with it, that's still part of his trial, now isn't it?
Sure part of trial but have you seen the video without the editing and the edited one? You can share your input on it once you see both.
I do suspect short clips are easier to monetize.Nope, not even close for me. Again, a lot of clips about people talking about the interview.
First, I still think it's possible there is a business reason based on Google's terms with sharing Spotify clips. Do they make more money from people watching the post-interview analysis?
Second, maybe Google knows you are a liberal when you search so they're like "WTH this guy won't be voting for Trump".
But it is also worth remembering that algorithms are weighted by a LOT of factors and the machine learning in place is pretty broad.
The context resulting in someone no longer getting the same results is unsurprising.
The easiest thing to do to check would be to search in incognito mode in a new browser or different device and see if it shows up there.
If it vanished from incognito I would be more inclined to believe it is being deliberately targeted.
From one of the horses' mouth, take his perspective on Harris' effort to do his show for what its worth.

My indifference stems from the hyperbole that the last three USA elections democracy is on the line. It wasn't. That USA policy would drastically change. It didn't.
We see some pendulum swings. But society and change operate on their own inertia and not the whims of politics.
And getting worked up about things I cannot change seems to be an exercise in futility. Instead I enjoy trying to understand things, and remain hopeful for better things, and express my opinion as I want.
Just like you are not any more important to the process, also continue to live a comfortable life, and the last eight years didn't affect you at all.

I'm talking about the Jan 6 video of Trump's spliced video of him "inciting insurrection" and then the full video of it without edit...maybe you should.
I'm thinking this story has outrun its 15 minutes of fame.
I'm sure both candidates solicit and turn down numerous venues in the course of a campaign. Why would this be any different??
OK, I'm just going to come out and say it: some Canadians are FAR too invested in what goes on in the US.

If anyone cares to know, I think Trump is a senile fuck-nut, but my opinion is 100 percent irrelevant because I'm Canadian, not American.
Even though I don't like Trump, let the Yanks elect him. Trump had absolutely no impact on my life whatsoever between 2016 and 2020. Or your life, I might add.
Worst thing the fat fuck did, as far as I am concerned, was to classlessly walk in front of our then-Head of State, Queen Elizabeth II, when he was at Buckingham Palace. But the guy's a stereotypical American buffoon, I expect no less.
In short, I live in Canada. I'm Canadian, not American, and I don't give one-fifth of a fuck who the Yanks elect as president. It's their country, not ours. Let them sink or swim the way they choose.
What I find pathetic are online discussions about American issues and Canadians trying to play identity politics with US politicians. I don't care which side you're on, you look foolish. It's no different than if people here were screaming at each other over who they think would make the best German chancellor.
I'm firmly of the old school that looks down on the US and Americans in general as being ungrateful colonists. I thank my British grandparents for that. There used to be a lot more of us who felt this way.

Just for those who might want to watch, he goes off about political tribalism later and never gets back to the Harris question, so when that happens you can tap out if you want. (Or listen, it's a clear enough summation of his thinking about that issue.)
But yeah, again, this all just sounds like scheduling, with a bit of "who controls the environment" since he clearly likes being in his own studio with only his own people in the room.
What was an interesting tidbit that dropped in this (at least for me) is that Trump was scheduled first.
So Rogan changing his mind about Trump being on had nothing to do with Harris wanting to be on, it is just that the Harris being on thing leaked before we heard about Trump. (And again, we don't know who leaked it.)
So Rogan booked Trump, then Harris's team reached out but they couldn't agree on scheduling/logistics.
(I don't know who the English guy is who is his guest there, but he seemed to be asking reasonable questions to Rogan about the issue.)
The last eight years affected me quite a bit, actually.
But then I am an American, with American friends and family.
It's different just because of the size and importance of Rogan's podcast.
Otherwise, it is like you said - candidates solicit and turn down all kinds of venues.
These are always tradeoffs in time and energy and media buzz and so on.
It's just this much news because Rogan's big and his fan base is very loud online. (which is part of his "bigness" beyond just the raw numbers)
It's amazing, Trump turned down a second debate due to fear and that is ok but not reaching an agreement for a Joe Rogan podcast is a big sin. LOL That being said, I would have enjoyed watching her on the podcast.

As people who have been here a while know, going to primary sources is important to me and I really wish more people did it.
I don't think it's a big sin. I think this late in the game there is little to gain and much to lose for her. If she had done it a few months ago I could have helped. Now it smacks of desperation. And I think the demographics of the audience wouldn't favor her, but the argument could be made a lot of not regular listeners would have tuned in. And the clips depending.
Same reason Trump turned down the debate.
