It's probably small if there are numbers. I haven't watched that channel in years. Can't remember why I even rarely watched it in the past.
Decades ago TVO showed a British series about sex that was quite explicit. It was hosted by an actress with a Liverpool accent whose name I can't remember. I remember on one episode she said, "sex is kind of a strange thing to get up to."
Does that mean there aren't many educated people? Do you watch it?

Elwy Yost lived in Thorncrest Village. I asked him what shows were coming up when going from house to house during halloween.
When my kids were younger they watched a lot of TVO and TFO programs. I never limited screen time if watching TFO because I wanted my kids exposed to as much French as possible while living in southern Ontario. I used to watch the Agenda semi-regularly but watch it less now as I watch less TV. I really enjoyed the series The Life-Sized City and a few others that I stumbled upon or heard about word of mouth.... they don't advertise much. I think good value but I realise my views are not shared by everyone.
For those who may not know, Elwy's son Graham became a very successful screenwriter/producer. His big breakthrough was writing the script for the Hollywood blockbuster Speed(1994). Appropriately, it was the last movie Elwy featured on his show Saturday Night at the Movies before he retired.

In 1995 TVO had 350k daily viewers. This was before the internet.
I imagine that numbers have significantly declined over the past 28 years. Who knows, maybe they're now hovering around 20k daily staunch high intelligentsia viewers like mandrill. Using magical math, that's plenty to pay 400+ staffers over $100k salaries.

Just like Elon's twitter could operate with a fraction of Twitter's original staff, TVO could be just as (un)successful with no more than 10 employees. Too many Starbucks pumpkin spice latte sippers doing fuck all there right now.
So TVO's entire network is equivalent to a moderately successful YouTube influencer, except that the YouTuber is one person while TVO encompasses hundreds of employees.
