I just finished watching the Khelif vs Carini fight.
  • Khelif is really arrogant.
  • Khelif looked physically stronger. And definitely was way faster.
  • I have to question Carini's heart for quitting so soon. But I have to respect her decision if she felt a safety issue for her well being.
I’m surprised that Carini has even stepped into the fucking ring

I’m surprised by Carini’s lack of heart. She just doesn’t have that dog in her. Imane Khelif is 9-5 and holds 5 losses to biological women. I’d argue that if she really was a man she’d be 14-0 but she isn’t.

Holding XY chromosomes and high testosterone in your body can certainly give men an advantage over women.

Not really clear...are trans considered woman or not? if they are not, then society must treat them as trans and not women...it may not sound "delectable' to the ears but that's the first step. we needto be not afraid to point it out... that will actually help the trans community t... the key is to be fearless about it...
They are! But they just aren't born women so when it come to the physique, some fundamental stuff cannot be changed.

so they are biologically men but are women? you can't defy science...those are cold hard facts....feelings doesn't define a person...her biology does...sports is a clear indication why they are not...physically...you are basically contradicting yourself.. you can be "politically correct" but scientifically, you are wrong... if we are going to accept them as women...let's remove all barriers and can't pick and choose where we draw the line anymore...if it's women's boxing...then that's where they belong...

This boxer situation is more complex than a born man transitioning into a female, than competing against females.

I have no issues with disallowing males transitioned to females into female sports at the competitive level. In this case it’s more complex, and there are arguments for not allowing.

But people claiming this is an outright man, are being dishonest like they often are.

So where were those advantages when she lost 5 times to biological women?
Maybe they were better boxers?
That really has nothing to do with allowing a man to fight a woman just because in the past they lost to women.

Also, it doesn't mean that he was knocked out by these women. Points are given to boxers per round usually. They are also penalized points.

But the point here is that a man is fighting a woman in these Olympics and that's not only unfair, it's what happens when wokeness runs amok.

Everyone seems to get it but you so we will have to agree to disagree.

If this person has the free testosterone of a male then that would make them a male.

Instead of going by the sex identified on their passport the IOC should be performing some blood tests.

I do agree that this case is individually quite nuanced though.

The fact that it involves a combat sport is concerning.

Its not simply a case of the IOC letting anybody in based on how they identify.

Lia Thomas, the transgender Penn St swimmer who broke all kinds of NCAA records, was disallowed from participating in the Olympics. That was a decision by Aquatic Sport (world swimming federation) and upheld by the IOC.

This one is a bit more complex.
Not sure if the IOC leaves it up to sports federations to decide.

She's not a man.
Declaring her a man puts her in danger in Algeria, where there is serious anti trans hate.

It is so strange the IOC choose boxing to fuck around with. But then it finally hit me why. With boxing (and all other combat sports) there are no world records.... With sports that keep track of world records such as track events and swimming, the IOC won't be able to hide this. However the IOC decision to allow this to happen with combat sports is very flawed because with combat sports there is a higher risk for brain damage, physical injuries, or death.

I am making research as we speak. It seems that she was born a female. Assigned female sex at birth. She is also not trans nor never claim to be. She was cleared to participate at the last Olympics but didn't won anything.

I won't question her heart or decision. I only question her decision to step into the ring, she should have refused to.

I am going to assume her blood testosterone levels are male. And technically she is probably both male and female (e.g. Caster Semenya) If that is the case, why did she choose to fight in the female division as oppose to the male division??
