I have never watched a full episode of the show only came across the show a couple of times when flipping channels and seeing a hot girl on the show. I gave into the hype and watched the new episode last night and they did a poor job of selling the show to new viewers. Not very funny but had a couple of interesting cameos. I liked the Stamos cameo as he was rumoured to be Sheen's replacement.

The Dharma & Greg cameo was weird as that show had it's run and then just disappeared. I don't see it in syndication so many people wouldn't even know who they are. I think I saw Jenny McCarthy and Jeri Ryan in the opening funeral scene as ex gfs I would assume.

I'm a total follower of this show with Charlie Sheen, although I think Charlie's outburst at the end was moronic on his part, he just imploded.

But I must say, I wasn't impressed with the new show in its premier. I'll reserve judgement until I see more shows. I was disappointed with the writers and Kutcher, maybe there was too much hype on him to deliver. I thought Cryer was as good as ever, and still love seeing the gorgoeus ladies, need more of that.

I watched a repeat where Sheen was dreaming about a threesome with Chelsea and Gail, that was more fun, lol.

Yup, I agree, it is a bit too early to say that 2 1/2 has "jumped the shark" but it certainly seems to be heading that way.

Just a dis-appointment and heard today that the shows producers will settle with lawsuit and give Charlie Sheen, 25M to go away.

Did catch and found it like most episodes in any show that tries to tie loose ends together too quick . I thought rose's summary of their whirlwind pre-honeymoon to Paris just right followed with Berta's summary. It was neat to see some of the ladies from his past.

At least now we know what happened to Dharma and Gregg.

Waldo's intro was a little weird, but time will tell if it makes it.

He's got a new series coming already....it's supposed to be based on the movie 'Anger Management' and Charlie Sheen in the therapist. Also heard the $25 mil is the money he was owed but he get's ~$100 million on syndication rights.
Indeed laughing all the way to the bank and probably explains his "don't give a shit" attitude all along.

In the corner
Given the explanation of his "death" I think they have left a loophole for him to return when the new guy bombs!!

So Rose was telling a tale of falling in front of a Paris subway train, resulting in a bag of meat? Okay.

So now let's guess where he's hiding. My guess would be as a bus boy in the Catskills.

I liked the new one and Kutcher was very funny, but Chuck Lorre really hates Sheen as he basically accused him( the character) of gay sex, passing along STD's and sleeping with drugged out hookers.

Given Sheen's don't give a shit attitutude to life, all are of the above are probably true.

Somewhere
Have followed the show for the past 8 seasons. Watched the premier last night...thought it was so so. I guess my expectations wasn't that high to begin with. It may have potential to get better...but if it keeps on its current course, they might have to fold the show or bring Sheen back. I am not defending Sheen's actions or things he had said...but Lorre's ego may bring the end to the show. At least he still has Big Bang Theory to fall back on...

I don't see how the show will recover from this.

If I know the greedy TV producers, they will find a way to bring him back and Chuck Lorre be damned.

That would be easy to do , they way they wrote his death and the funeral, and even how they had the ashes delivered all leave it open (storyline wise) to bring him back.

The guy in the handi-vac returns. I just see this show being the a rewrite of Dumb and Dumber only with $1.3 Billion.

Who said he was in the handi-vac ? :)

Don't get me wrong,I don't think they should bring him back, even with him the show was out of steam and it had pretty much reached it's end, but his death is vague enough he can be brought back if they wish.. which I doubt as Kutcher is getting half the salary Charlie was.
