What do some people do to be cool - but come of like low class idiots?

For some reason, this week I met quite a few jerks. First there was this guy in a red Corvette that had his stereo blaring. I went 5 stop lights before I realized it was the fool in the early 80s red Corvette with sun glasses and a smirk. He annoyed people and looked like a fool.
The second jerk was a guy in a new mustang that had to race up 75t ft at high speeds to impress people at intersection. Not only did he look like a fool, but he will need to buy new tires soon.
Jerk number 3, I feel sorry for this guy that was about 4 ft tall and had a blue tooth ear piece and a belt that looked like Batmans utility belt loaded with a cell phone, Ipod and other gadgets. The gadgets did not divert attention to the fact he was 4 ft tall.
There are Jerketts out there as well. I saw a woman that had on stretch Capri pants that was see through. I could see that her thongs had little kitty faces on it. To top it all off the Capri pants were yellow, since she had large hips and was a little overweight, she looked like a large chicken strutting around in her high heels. While it was interesting to see this woman in see through clothing, I would be embarassed to walk around with her.
What kind of jerks have you seen out there?

When you dress yourself to get attention, even if it makes you a joke. Then you are a jerk. It may be fun to look at girls that have their asses hanging out of their pants or to look at people that reveal themselves in see through clothing. I would not be caught dead walking with a woman like that, yould you?

A good read. I have it on my bookshelf next to my desk right now, with Aldrich's 'Old Money' on one side and Veblen's 'The Theory of the Leisure Class' on the other. Good to hear I'm not the only one who read these books.
