"I am Legend" with Will Smith can be pretty scary if you watch it all alone at night since it's about a guy who is all alone himself trying to avoid bloodsucking zombie people.

Heaven, definately Heaven
SPACE: 1999 episode "Dragon's Domain" on its initial television debut broadcast in 1976 (not a movie). Couldn't sleep for 24 hours, was too young, but damn....

Besides all the ones mentioned, I just saw The Happening.

The movie sucked.

But the scene with the crazy old woman did scare me.

I guess it depends on your age, but for some reason it was the Exorcist for me, probably because of my teen age. After that, nothing really scares me, I must of all grown up.

If you're familiar with torrents,

go and download "BEGOTTEN"

then turn off all the lights and music in your home

then turn up the sound on your tv/receiver

then start the movie

buuuhaaa haaa haaaa

The best horror movies are the ones that seem real and not over-produced. That's why Halloween and Texas Chainsaw did well.

I liked signs with mel gibson, right up until they showed the alien.
Saloms Lot was a good one as well.

Seen them both before. Not scary. :p Sure I worried for the kids but it did not make me jump like it may have when I was younger.

I love horror and nothing usually scares me...so when a movie does scare me, its good!

The Descent is my favourite horror....I actually had to turn the lights on half way through the movie cos I couldn't watch it in the dark anymore! Real good quality.

If you want something a bit more "entertaining" and less "horror" watch Cloverfield, which I really enjoyed this year. Not many jumps or shocks, but a quality bit of film-making.

The best horror these days is all Asian, so the originals of The Eye or Dark Water are MUCH better than the American copies.

Enjoy and don't get too scared :D
hmmm, I'm going to have to check this out then. I've seen both Dark Waters though.
