Skip Toronto. It is such a pain to deal with traffic. Condo in Mississauga/Brampton with access to a highway and you'd be good to go. Sell the place when you're done with the industry or use it as a base to go to school or commute into TO for work... All of my advice serves my own interest.
I have my condo in Kitchener when I want to go back there or use to invest in something here. Thank god I got it before the new down payment percentages took place !! Its actually super nice there :)

Time matters most for me. I hobby in the late evenings, with 8-9pm being my earliest preference, and almost exclusively on the weekend. I'm willing to travel most anywhere at those times as traffic is usually quite light and I enjoy driving. The drive to meet the lady, with mood setting music blaring is always a good time. It's that moment before you meet when anything is still possible for that session. So time over location, but downtown TO just plain sucks and I will always choose the girl not working there over the girl working there if all else is a toss up.
Interesting, as Im currently in North York and it's kinda slow???

What's the difference between downtown and the financial district?
Isn't the financial district downtown?
What am I missing? :apologetic:

Good point. Generally it’s all downtown but when I see financial district is think King and Bay Area. Then downtown would be north of that around college and Yonge/Bay condos.
A few blocks but can make a difference when a busy guy is trying to get away for a quickie.
