I disagree with you about losing the manufacturing sector, as both Cambridge, ON and Woodstock, ON are home to large Toyota manufacturing plants, and Bombardier continues to manufacture aircraft and trains. As for high-tech, in spite of the current travails of Blackberry (formerly RIM), and there are many smaller high-tech firms based out of the Kitchener/Waterloo area and Toronto.We've lost the Manufacturing sector, we've lost the high tech sector, we are left with natural resources and the services industry.
It won't be long before we lose those ones too. And then?
The CBC finding is based solely at telephone customer service, and wouldn't take into account face-to-face customer service, which is also an important component of businesses.It was looked on CBC not long ago and here is their findings.

I've flown on air canada many times and never had any issues. Nothing to rave over, but nothing to complain about either.
