According to consensus data there are about 150,000 Israeli immigrants in the US as of 2021 and 160,000 Palestinians. There are also 355,000 Ukrainian immigrants, 7.9 million Mexicans, 2.9 million Indians and 2.4 million Chinese. If it was a matter of the best interests of the American immigrants, the US would he expected to join India in its war against Pakistan or the Ukraine against Russia or Palestine against Israel but that is clearly not the case. What do you $uppose is going on down there ?

I reckon Israel being a supposed democracy in an authoritarian region is one factor.
The other is many Republicans are evangelicals, and they love Israel because one of the "signs" or bible prophecies foretelling the return of Jesus is the Jews being back in the holy land. Thus, they gotta stay there for Jesus to come back and wipe out the world.

I could never figure out why Jesus was a Jew but the Jews do not believe that Jesus was anything more than a preacher. It was the Romans who killed him who invented Christianity, long after Jesus died. Kind of ironic isnt it ? Israel is an ally.
Israel hasn't promised to wipe another nation off the map.
Israel hasn't attacked the US or taken American hostages.
