Why do people still go to strip clubs?

You can do it as a spur of the moment thing and don't need to contact anyone or make an appointment. If you don't particularly care for what you see you can always kick back with a drink and hope that the stage show will keep you entertained or tell yourself better talent just happens to be in the dressing room at the moment. I can cut my losses at $20 if a dancer is awful in the VIP whereas I commit at least $100 for what might be a shitty massage or $200 for a horrible SP. Sometimes I just want to ogle naked women for a half hour or so and without needing to get my rocks off. I can drop in the club at midnight or 1 AM whereas most parlours seem to close at around 9 PM and for the most part SPs that answer their phone in the wee hours of the morning and agree for an immediate booking aren't the type I'd want to see anyway... Don't forget the fun of going beyond SC limits, you know what you're going to get at an MP or with an SP, but being in flagrant violation of SC rules is always a pleasant surprise and not always more expensive than it would be elsewhere...

I used to frequent SCs, but I just went there for entertainment, not sex (or extras).
Then I saw a couple SPs from famous agencies, but I was less than satisfied. The girls were not up to my standards (look wise) and the service was kinda mechanical and lazy. Later I found terb, and the SPs I met are surprisingly very well reviewed here, so I'm skeptical that it will get much better.
Then I tried MPs, and for me it's the best bang for the buck. The girls are hotter (yes, there are pretty average ones there too but you can see them before you commit), keep you entertained the whole time, and in general it's more fun and passionate.

I'm more into facial beauty, and I had better luck with MPAs as opposed to SCs and SPs. I think the strippers are not as hot as they were a few years ago.

Michael63,
The strippers are not as hot, or do their attitudes turn you off making them less desirable?
I have to agree that for anything more than Eye candy, MP beat SC no problem, cannot comment on SP as I have never partaken.

Believe me, after the amount of money I ended up spending last night I am asking myself the same question (OP's)......

I still go to strip clubs to party with the boys after hockey and to see an old friend of mine who gives me a great time at a reasonable price.
She is fantastic (way better than any SP or MP I have been to) and now getting other dancers seems like a complete waste of time and money to me.

I also have a retired old friend who I see for an amazing afternoon or overnighter in Niagara.

Well I have to agree with you Fuji.

I find the that the expression "As cold as a wh___'s heart" almost never is a true statement about SPs (perhaps I've just been choosy and lucky - Thank you TERB and MERB), but almost always is a truthful statement when it comes to "dancers." A major reason why I choose to patronize the former.

Gonna probably play some poker tonight at Fallsview Casino if the waiting list isn't too bad for a Saturday. I'm going to visit the Sundowner my favorite SC in Ontario right after. Hopefully, I'll have won some money instead of spending my own tonight. ;)

The cost

Seems like your beef with strip clubs is the cost.

Go make more money and it won't be such an issue for you.

LOL hey kebler I will make a $200 hamburger for you anytime . . . but I agree, as pure dances you would be foolish to go to a SC - an SP with talent can provide just as good an experience - but then again - maybe Sp can't dance? Maybe the music isn't their? If there where legal, easy to go to brothels in Canada I think strip clubs - as strip joints anyway, would cease to exist. They are legal incalls and that is perhaps one reason they still exist. Plus the experience issue of course - and of course most tourists are unaware of the situation in Toronto so clubs seem like the best one can offer (which explains why the airport clubs and others do well)

As others have already mentioned, I visit SCs for the following: variety and spontaneity. Have to support the tactile art galleries after all...

If we didn't, the hand sanitizer industry would collapse
I used to frequent them a lot, back in the day, and recently I went and did a tour around a couple that I used to frequent.. just for old time's sake.

A dancer told me why people still go to strip clubs. I Know her outside of her dancing and never even seen her naked ( that would be awkward ) She has a persona for her dance clients and she knows me in the real world outside the fantasy world of the club. She tell me men that go to strip clubs because they have no life.

I like the set up - you know this girl that works the club who has incredible insight into clubs - excluding you from the comments - and she said that men go to clubs because they have no life. When she mentioned this, does she know that you stand in the fruit aisle of super markets dropping bananas to pick up chicks ?

Ok, I'll bite. This girl may work a club but there is no way she has insight into the customers if she can see a group of guys sucking back a few beers and suggest they have no life. I got an S.O. that I spend nights & weekends home and with friends so when I pop in between business meetings or occasionally have a guys night out - to suggest I have no life because I'm there is either delusional or just condescending bull. I'm guessing you agree otherwise you wouldn't post the opinion and frame it within some pseudo credible source. So you don't go to SC's ?

If your 'friend' suggested those showing up on New Years Eve or other popular family holidays suggested their lives are lacking - I might buy it. But delivered with such a broad stroke is just not true.

I feel that the no-life comment could equally be applied to anyone on this site since we all pay for sexual services of some sort.

Of course I'm sure most of us don't really care what they say as long as we are enjoying ourselves.

Only reason I still go to SC"s is to hang with my buds over a beer watching some naked snatch.
Or I go a SC for a hour or so to get in the mood for a MP visit.
