The WS will be played under American League rules and the Red Sox will have home field advantage for what it is worth.
They have not played under one league's rules for the entire series in at least 20 years.

Home team determines the rules.

I forgot about that. Gives Redsox a big advantage, as Cards have no one to match Ortiz at DH. But that pitching staff of Cards may shut him down.

Cards will find a way. The Sox are too beard-y and this will be their undoing.

Why wasn't Stephen Drew standing on 2B on that "base hit"? Why, because Mr. Drew thought his ball would be caught and ran to 1B at only half speed. Come on man, this is the Big show, 100% effort 100% of the time.

Why bother. Cards look absolutely inept.

Called Boston at the beginning of the playoff.....sticking with it.

With the stingy pitching the loss of Beltran will be big......

What a finish !

I love it !

Break out the crying towels in Boston, they are going to need them.
A controversial game ending play according to Farrell.
The absolute correct call was made in my opinion.
It looks obvious to me when the third baseman's legs come up a second time.

A good call, get on with the next game.
Gutsy call. It was the correct call but a lot of umpires would have ignored it. There was no effort on Middledrooks part to stand up or get out of the way. He was attempting to impede the runner from going home. If Middlebrooks doesn't interfere I don't think it is even close at home.

Here
As far as I am concerned, some of the best baseball I have watched in a while.

I no longer care who wins... both teams are playing well -- not perfect -- and either is deserving.

I would be happy to see it go 7 games if the next 4 are like the first 3.

Too bad that incident took the spotlight away from Pedroia who made a great play to get the ball and throw it to his catcher for the out. Dustin is my kind of player. 100% effort, 100% of the time.

He is pretty special I would take him over Cano. I just love the effort and the attitude. I curse him continually when the sox play the Jays.

Umm. Wrong. Check your facts.
Game 6, Wednesday, October 30, 8:07 PM (ET)Fenway Park, Boston, Massachusetts

Game 7, Thursday, October 31, 8:07 PM (ET)
Fenway Park, Boston, Massachusetts

Since the Red Sox won game 4, they are going back to Boston for game 6, even if the Cards win game 5 in St. Louis, there will still be a game 6 (and game 7, if necessary) in Boston.
