Very disappointed in last night's outcome. DC should have played biz instead of DD. Derozan look lost out there in all facets. Can't make the jump shot, can't hit free throws, and can't make easy layups. Biz would have been able to alter some of the easy lay ins Miami had last night.
Wade's game tying layup, Biz could have made a difference in stopping.
Wow our two Allstars are shooting .33 percent and we are two wins away from Conference Finals .. I can't figure that one out .

I thought Indiana was better than us. I don't feel that way about Miami. I think we win this series, and then we either get blown out by Cleveland or we incredulously stretch them to 5 or 6 games all while we continue to scratch our heads wondering how we keep winning like this. LOL

...if anyone else can give a well researched and succinct argument to all that has occurred in this run, I'm with wonk, RGuy and all of you in that we have no idea what's ahead tonight!

Will good TRoss show or will bad TRoss let us down? Will our guards finally realize the playoffs have started? Will Dwade finally blow a tire? And on and on and on......let's go Raps!

It's a mute point now that the ref didn't call a technical foul on Dragic last game. The NBA fined Dragic for the missed foul. My point is this everyone should pay attention on THE REF. The ref is the 6th player on Miami:frusty:

There is a good TRoss???????? Where????? He resembles Bargnani, shows up occasionally, no discipline, no heart, like Bargnani in love with the 3, and hits it occasionally. Needs to get over his fear of playing inside. I pray they trade him in the off season.

What is your source on this? I can not find anything regarding Dragic being fined. Anyone???? Never mind, found it! Really not an issue!

I'm just as frustrated with his performance but I also think that other than DD and Lowry, he's only Raptor that has the raw abilities to dominate a game and get us a win. It may only happen once in a blue moon but you can see that the potential is there.

Perhaps it's a lack of basketball IQ or a lack of commitment (practice) off court that's holding him back, but I'm putting my faith in Masai's judgement that eventually he'll come through as JV has done.

Another high blood pressure win tonight! Actually wonder why Miami doesn't go to Wade and Joe Johnson far more often. They both tend to score at will.

finally the all stars showed up together. bench scoring pathetic.
wonder what happens to the Brazilians in the off season, Bebe dressed last night but didn't play and it looks like they have hidden Bruno's uniform.
team is pretty banged up, JV Carroll and DeRozan all either out or hurting. Don't think the Heat are very healthy either with Bosh and Whiteside on the sidelines. Think the old legs are starting to come into play as Wade and Johnson had slow nights. Put a fork in Stoudamire, done like dinner!
Game six in South Beach, lets hope the Raps can end it there!

Please end this Friday..! But it's unbelievable how many limbs and body parts are being maimed in this series! Don't know how either team has anything left for the Cavs......anyways let's put the Heat out of their misery and put those poor old dogs out to pasture!!

Not many ppl will agree with me on this but I thought Corey Joseph has not played well in this series. He can't seem to close out the Q's properly for a few games now. I think Joseph is running out of gas because he's probably playing the most mins in his young career this season. Let's hope DC can play tomorrow even on two legs with one hand! He can guard DW without worrying about scoring. Still, I don't think the Heat will lay dead and give the Raptors the series without another good fight on their home court. Good chance for the Raps to close out the series though, if Luol Deng can't play for the Heat tomorrow. Nobody else can guard DD from their depleted roster.

Wow in early 20's and running out of gas ? Isn't that when you have the most gas ..

The TNT guys made a good point that every time the Raptors got a big lead, they would run their offence to the last five seconds and take a bad shot. That's why they'd always allow the other team to make runs at them.

Not just Joseph, the bench has been a liability in the post season. The bench has been weakened with Scola replacing Patterson as a bench player. Scola has not shown anything and has worn down as the season progressed. My guess is Deng plays and they will see how he does. This is the playoffs and they will put someone on DeRozen and they may not stop him but he will know he is being guarded. It may be ugly.
Unfortunately I am starting to believe a well rested, healthy Cleveland team wins the East with minimal trouble. Should the Raps get that far, I think most people will consider the season a success.

Hopefully, the pattern will repeat itself. Raptors bench outplayed the Heat in game 4 in Miami. Then, Miami bench adjusted to have a better game in Toronto. Can we say its Toronto turn to outplay Miami bench tonight? And, move on to Clev for Gm1 on Sunday?

Don't forget that DD can't weave in and out with the ball because of his injured thumb. Joseph is the only guy can dribble if Lowry rest on the bench. I think Joseph put much pressure on himself cause of that. I love Joseph when he zig and zag to make a lay up. That's his game and he should continue because Miami has no shot blockers! When Joseph makes a mid range shots that when he is giving me a heart attack..lol!

Frienz4evr called this milking the clock (see entry 735). This was a few games back so they have been doing it a while.
