I have to admit my knowledge of Ashford and Simpson is limited to a few tracks and their songwriting prowess for other artists. Just heard this beauty on the radio early today wow I so dig it

Like Little John said in Rocket Robin Hood, " Oh come on brain, you've just got to work faster".

Someone passed the sick joke to me that Steve Cropper had passed away. He is a talented guitarist born in the Ozarks, grew up in Nashville. Before helping to produce The Blues Brothers, Briefcase full of Blues, he orchestrated some huge hits for black soul singers. Thefalse annoucement came out on day that pro - Confederate Lynyrd Skynyrd's guitar player Garry Rossington had passed away.

Isaac Hayes was also a brilliant composer, I'm just beginning to discover how deep his work actually is. Unfortunately he was also the victim of Scientology bumfuckery. He was deprived of his heart medicine and his bank account was looted by his so-called religion. Black people should not become Scientologists, it's a license to steel. In his special Selective Outrage, Chris Rock pointed out the similarities between Michael Jackson and R Kelly. I would go one step further, MJ was not a Scientologist.

Is that Cropper on guitar?

I was told that Drake sampled a song from the 70's for his big hit....co-owner of AC Milan.

Drake was dating Serena Williams at the time.
