Hamas did nothing? They set this thing in motion...Hamas is not dropping the bombs or withholding food and water.
Stop using the wife beater's defence.
Israel is choosing genocide.
You're loving every terrorist "victory" aren't you?How can Hamas be blowing up so many IDF vehicles? Israel tells us they are all hiding in tunnels.
You call it oppression, I call it conflict...yeah...both sides h ad been in conflict for ages...Nobody likes Islamic extremism. The majority of Muslims don't either. Nobody likes Zionism either. Or Evangelical Christianity. No one like religious fundamentalism.
There is no version of history regarding Israel and Palestine, that does not involve oppression of the Palestinians.
Also, terrorism is not justified. But you have to remember they are terrorists to US. We call them terrorists. They call them freedom fighters. The reason these "terrorists" or "freedom fighters" exist, is because of certain things like western military action, oppression, and so on. That has to be acknowledged. Terrorists are not a defined faction that you can defeat on the battlefield. Every lost man can be replaced and replacement is easy when you give them a reason to use.
Jihadists do not exist in a vacuum. And if you agree that we will see a new generation of Jihadists, then why enable them? Why enable them via the same methods that helped create the other Jihadists in the first place?
Oh what a noble government staying out of people's faith! lol. Stop.
How is Israel going about it? They asked for release of hostages and what do they get? more rockets....If protesters are crying "ceasefire"...they know who they should direct it to....Why are you stuck on that? Who is denying that Hamas started the current war?
The disagreement is not about who started the war. It is about how Israel is going about it. Which is to commit war crimes.
Not sure how much those RPG's would be able to penetrate Tank armour though.
There is no perfect solution. In a conflict where neither side can find common ground that the majority agree with, what will happen is Palestine will be wiped out but Jihadists will continue to exist.Nobody likes Islamic extremism. The majority of Muslims don't either. Nobody likes Zionism either. Or Evangelical Christianity. No one like religious fundamentalism.

Your arguments are beginning to sound almost as ridiculous as frank's. If someone creates a problem, then the consequences of what they created is unequivocally their responsibility.1. Hamas created what problem? The current Israeli response? Yes. The Israeli-Palestinian conflict? No.
2. And so WHAT if Hamas created the problem of the current response by Israel? Israel has a choice not to carpet bomb. So the decision to carpet bomb, is solely theirs.
Clearly not.I forgot to mention, the 4th reason, that you could be a supporter of Israel, because it is the socially and politically acceptable/easier thing to do.
So now, like frank, you are justifying the Oct. 7 attack.1. Israel has made it worse. It is Israeli oppression that created Hamas in the first place.
Sort of like apartheid and genocide. And throw around the word antisemite so much, whenever someone criticizes Israel, that it has now lost its meaning and value.
When I was in uni, I told the co-eds I was a communist. It worked every time. The attraction of the anti Israel / pro Palestinian movement in the West is that it can be framed as support for downtrodden brown people against powerful whites. In a world where such causes are becoming increasingly difficult to find, it's probably the only game in town. (The West no longer colonizes Africa, no longer supports wars in Asia and Latin America and has liberalized laws directed against gays and women. The old demo heyday of the 60's and early 70's are long gone).
So the movement attracts hard left people - often fairly young - who are emotionally attracted to the idea of a "cause" and who are very low information - or even "no information". So they ignore the plain fact that Islamic fundamentalism - and even most Islamic societies in the Middle East - are extremely fucked up and nasty for emotional reasons.
The tee shirt icons of my youth - Che, Lenin, Fidel, Mao, etc - were pretty nauseating too. But we still liked them.
What's the deal with the Irish? (I assume she is by her accent).
Have they forgotten their "troubles"? It hasn't been that long...I'm not sure??
He did a great job here...What's the deal with the Irish? (I assume she is by her accent).
When I hear that accent on Twitter and TikTok it's always anti-Israel, at least in the current situation.
Did the Jews do something to piss off the Irish?
