I have also heard that park is supposed to be pitcher friendly. I don't get that. Every time I have seen Seattle highlights during the season, all I have ever seen is the ball flying out of there.

That was 35 years ago. There was no data analyst, pitching was different and hitters were more natural like Dale Murphy , Mike Schmitt, Joe Carter, Pete Rose, Hank Arron and so on. Baseball has changed since Gatson time and hitting and pitching has changed as well. Most of current depends on statistics and data gathering. I still hate Jays and baseball these days. For an old fart like me 60 70 and 80 when the game was beautiful
