It's time for me to upgrade my photo gear so I'm hoping to get some recommendations form the group.
For the past few years I've used a Canon S3is because I found it to be the best compromise between an easy to use point and shoot and a more flexible SLR.
It worked fine for a while, but I now...
I picked up a Zenith Silver Sensor indoor antenna (http://www.digitalhome.ca/forum/showthread.php?t=40741&page=3) for about $30 from a place in Vaughn. It's neither especially large or ugly and works great from my South Etobicoke condo.
I've got no desire to get into an argument over the relative merits of different technologies.

If you don't mind off-brands or refurbished items, your best bet are places like factorydirect or xscargo. I just picked up a Motorola bluetooth headset for $19 from xscargo.
I'm in a condo not far from the CN Tower but unfortunately blocked to everything by another huge hi-rise right across the street.
With an indoor antenna (Zenith Silver Sensor) I can reliably receive 3 or 4 HD stations. When the planets align (e.g. HD programming of something in which I'm...
Boot Camp will come installed on your iMac. It requires you to reboot the machine to switch from one OS to the other. Third party software like Parallels or Crossover will run both OS X and Windows concurrently allowing you to switch back and forth at will.
It's already been mentioned but it's...

A common misconception. Pixel resolution (i.e. # of megapixels) is not necessarily related to picture quality. Picture quality depends mostly on the quality of the lens and and the size/quality of the sensor. The number of megapixels is more an indication of how large the picture can...
