Our iso's suck. Carroll and JV saving the game today that's for sure
I agreed that Carroll and JV saved the game last night.

Overall, It's a great improvement compare to the game 1 in this series.

One thing I have noticed for a while is: DD is the weak spot of the defense and I truly believe that has to be fixed immediately. In order to be a true star like LB, you must show your availability for both offense and defense. DD needs play tougher on the defense situation.

Let's go, Raptors!

DD's defense is his weakness in his game for a few years now. That was why they signed DC to take the pressure off DD when they have to defence in their end. Offensively,I like DD in this series. Nobody from the Heat can guard DD so he needs to be more aggressive to go straight to the hole. DD blew by Dragic a few times during the game last night. Deng or Johnson is old with tired legs so DD should take advantage as this series go on longer.

2 OT games! At least we'll get our money's worth! My key to victory was CoJo picking up his fifth with 6 to go and then playing the rest of the game hard without fouling out! Again, if they play as they can we will prevail. Wear and tear on Old Heaters will happen. And we're still not firing on all cylinders. So if they keep ramping up each game we'll beat these Heat yet. Signs that Klo is seeing the light again and bench making key contributions like JJ and TRoss at critical times are little things to build on and get that game three! Game four ought to be fun as game three is a 5pm start so the boys will be enjoying South Beach after the game so legs might be a bit weak..!!!

I don't know if Wade can hold up for another 7 game series, he really looks banged up, he is still a veteran though. The Raps have younger legs and the Heat have the experience, playing every other day is taking it's toll on Wade and Joe Johnson. Also, this is the most ball Whiteside has played in a season, I think the longer the series goes, the better chance the Raptors have to win.

Its crazy how both Indiana and Miami shoot so much better than the Raps. The Raptors are agoninzing to watch, yet they're always right there in it by the end of the game. Steals, rebounds, deflections etc etc. They're somehow winning with less game, and more heart!!!

Gotta love Oak. Cant disagree what he says, ive bitched enough times watching these playoffs when derozan just dribbles the ball with the shot clock winding only to take a fucked up off balance fade away being doubled team. Dudes gotta learn to pass it will make him more effective and a better player

Any good bars in the GTA you'd recommended to watch Raptors games?

Interesting article in the Star about how Lowry and DeRozan are one dimensional players.
The greats like Bird and Magic would do what Oakely's suggesting.
If you're shot isn't going in, contribute in other ways: rebound, set people up (assists), play defense.

WEGZ up in Vaughan. Get there early. It fills up by game time.

Exactly, that's frustrating as hell watching him do that, especially more in the playoffs when defensive pressure gets stepped up.

Big game for Lowry tonight. The boys now back on track.

What happened to Valencuinas though who didn't seem to play the second half?

Outstanding performance by JV!!! I am so glad to hear that his ankle injury, X-rays negative. What a win by Raptors! Great effort, great team work, great come back with KL.

Let's go Raptors!

nice win. Thought when JV went down it was over but Kyle showed up. What is with the Rap's bench? Miami is outplaying them badly. Biyombo where are you? He may have to start tonight and if he does. my guess is he will play well. He sure played well when starting during the season so lets see if that continues. IMO Ross is more suited to pine than hardwood. 4 turn overs last night. The good thing is , enough GMs like him that he is tradable.
Lets hope Jonas isn't out long and the Lowery drought is over. If DeRozan gets it going as Kyle did Raps will be fine.

Home court ad back. Whiteside bigger loss to Heat than JV for us. Heat are there for the taking now as long as we just take care of Biz,so to speak!! But seriously, Biz really needs to return to action especially if JV is down for a while. KLo keeps it going we will be fine.

Portland making hay without Steffi. Seems that Cavs will get the rest again! OKC trying their damndest but SA playing well in the best series of this round. Hope the boys aren't enjoying South Beach too much right now...!

IMO JV has outplayed Whiteside in this series so far and the Heat actually out scored us after both big men were out, so I'd say JV is at least just as valuable to us as Whiteside to the Heat especially the way DD (and Lowry till last win) has been struggling.

For the longest time we've been waiting for Ross and JV to take their games to the next level, JV has now done that but Ross remains the same player he was. His bonehead pass in the 4th almost costed us the game and I don't think he was on the court much after that. The frustrating thing is he keeps showing flashes of brilliance but not much else to help the team win.

The weakest aspect of the Raps offensive game has been their 3-point shooting. PP has been inconsistent and while DD made good improvement in the regular season, he has reverted back to last season's form in the playoffs. Lowry is the only threat so he has to continue playing like the last game for the Raps too win this series.

The Brazilian may get to show us that he deserves more minutes next season ..

News is out that JV will miss the remainder of the Heat series. What a big fucking blow for the Raps and for the city. He's been our most consistent player on both ends of the court. Our only rim protector now is Biz, but he is playing like shit this series. Raps have no choice but to go small and play Pat at the 5. It worked okay but if hassan comes back we are FUCKED!

What an innocent play .. Lady luck couldn't help herself it seems .. The fact Heat center also out may help in the fact they aren't deep at Centre
