A much more entertaining show than last week, and I thought even the fat fuck and the sissy did pretty well. Unfortunately, Nadia was the worst performer this week, which does not bode well for her tomorrow.
Nadia - She probably didn't sing the song that badly, but the song was just incredibly boring and forgettable. And it didn't help that no one had ever heard of it.
Bo - I thought Bo missed an opportunity to really rock out with 'Free Bird'. I thought it was okay, but I wanted to be wowed.
Anwar - This guy seems to love to sing songs popularized by women, and I thought he sang the song well.
Anthony - He picked a perfect song, one of those sappy 80's ballads, and I thought he did well with it. If you're going to be gay, you might as well be good at it.
Vonzell - This girl is picking up major steam. 'Let's Hear it For the Boy' was a perfect song for her. She was energetic and entertaining. I thought she was the best of the night.
Scott - He picked a Hall & Oates song, and they were in the crowd. Geez, how old have they gotten? I thought fatso did a credible job, although I would agree, he didn't nail the low notes as well as the high ones. But then again, it took two guys to sing that song originally, and Hall had Oates to sing the low notes.
Carrie - I am digging Carrie and it even looks like she has lost a little weight. The judges gave her flak for rocking out, but I thought she did a pretty good job with that Pat Benatar song. Between this song and Heart's 'Alone', I think the country chick has rocked out more than Constantine, the poser.
Constantine - This guy continues to be a total cheeseball, and his performances are so clearly staged for him to pose and pout. But I thought he did a decent job with the song. The song sort of restores some of his rocker cred, but it was definitely a "safe" rock song.
Hate to say it, but I think Nadia could be going tomorrow, as much as I'd like fat boy to disappear.
