The sad thing is that he neve worked for all that money, and most likely he will live off the money for the rest of his life. My uncle was the same way. Money kept coming his way, he was born rich and married rich. Yet was always in debt and kept get bailing out. Meanwhile, good, hardworking people scrimp and save barely to survive.
And the people who did not save or worked to build up a workplace pension and CPP will get the GIS even if they own a house.

Do you qualify for the Guaranteed Income Supplement
You may be able to get this benefit if:

  • you are 65 or older
  • you live in Canada
  • you receive the Old Age Security (OAS) pension
  • your income is below $22,440 if you are single, widowed, or divorced
  • your income plus the income of your spouse/common-law partner is below:
    • $29,616 if your spouse/common-law partner receives the full OAS pension
    • $53,808 if your spouse/common-law partner does not receive an OAS pension
    • $41,472 if your spouse/common-law partner receives the Allowance
    • you are not currently under a sponsorship agreement

So basically, a Canadian who marries a foreigner who never had CPP and has no OAS can collect GIS $1100 every single month, on top of his own OAS and CPP. Yet own a million dollar house, which he can sell and live off of after he collects years of pension.

The doctor is in
I like outcalls if I'm on the road, and I have some confidence an escort can be moderately discreet because I tend to stay in the same places. My issue with outcalls in Toronto (my home) is that: 1) My budget would have a hard time with the overhead if I was renting spaces, and 2) I've been in the same building, with the same neighbours, for a long time. They're good neighbors, and I'm friendly with most of my floor (if not actual friends). They'd notice stange women coming and going. (I have long random conversations with my landlord for Christ's sake.) While seeing escorts has been great, I don't want to be 'hooker guy'.
The trick is this: Find a regular that you can see at home, and save variety for the road. Your situation sounds familiar, especially regarding the random convos. I’ve had a girl I see regularly stopped by the concierge and asked who she’s visiting and in which unit number. She dresses casually and just tells them point blank. What do they know?! lol… she could be a friend, relative, business acquaintance. None of their business, anyway! 😛
