As they have 50 senate seats and a majority in the house the only thing stopping them from protecting women's rights is fellow Democrats.

Once again if the Supreme Court Judges ruled in favour of the States overturning Roe v Wade, then it is back to the drawing Board. Blame the whole thing for once solely on the Republican Supreme Court nominees who put their religious beliefs before the basic human rights of women!!

Well as Andy Beshier, Governor of Tennessee released an enail that showed Biden planned to appoint an anti abortion Judge to a life time appointment, I'd say it starts will not putting people like that on the bench.

That's what the GOP did to set up the SCOTUS appointments in the future.

Did Biden not sign an Executive order recently with respect to re-opening this Roe v Wade Legislation in Congress? Yes, he used to be against abortion before but that has changed. The whole idea of nominating this conservative judge was part of a compromise with the Republicans so that the other nominees would have been approved. But after Roe v Wade was overturned then this whole nomination process was squashed, as there was no trust with McConnell or these nominees who have lost all the integrity!!

Only Democrats have agency.
Everything the Republicans do is the fault of the Democrats.

Remember that he did it only after the 41 or so Republicans in a SIGNED LETTER stated that they would oppose any nomination from Obama unless the nominee got the approval of a Republican Senator from that State. Remember that Republican Senator Lugar approved of nominee David Hamilton as a Federal District Judge, But Moscow Mitch and the Republicans reneged on their own promise and opposed his nomination. Check his record in the Senate. He was a part of approving all the lower judges. The happy to rubber stamp anti abortion ones. Remember he was anti Roe v Wade in the Senate.
