This C36 brings about a 5 year prison sentence. If you're going to be trying to cover tracks forensically to mitigate the 5 year risk, you have to be in deep into this escorting/paying life. For me, to break a law that carries such penalties and be branded a criminal for life is simply not worth it.

It is my understanding that most indies and agencies employ phone bookers,whom work offsite,
and typically other than the timing and duration of appointment,the providers don't have your number
in the first place

You're right Matt. But, until we see where this law is going with respect to charges laid and how the courts handle them or they are handled on appeal, we are facing the unknown. If you do get charged, it would be because the police, in their investigation, have reason to lay the charge, ie; investigative work and finding reasonable grounds to lay the charge using the new law as their guide/tool. Record that conversation about " the fascistic oil company puppets who have temporarily seized control of our country", for your defense lawyer to use as evidence at trial.

I don't know what you're smoking but all I'm asking is that Mirage kindly erase all phone records on Dec 5th(or let us know if we have to call in and request) and all of you freedom fighters standing up to Harper and whatever fascist demons you're fighting can take it forward from Dec 6th with Mirage and whatever agency. I have no intention of breaking any law that carries felony sentencing.

Any phone records from before C36 coming into effect, I wouldn't worry about. If charges are laid, they may use past phone records in order to establish intent.

Get a pay as you go and start new. Problem solved.

Exactly,calm down and keep on hobbying! . So basically us and most other Toronto agencies don't keep clients info unless you request us to do so. Some gentlemen request us to save them as regulars so they can book thru a text message and we know what they like and dont like. But if you dont request to be saved as regular we wont save you. GPIDEAL - As stated in the Challenges thread, cell phone providers don't keep text logs, or call logs over 30 days.

I just logged in to my cell phone account and checked pdf copies of my invoices back to Oct 2013, and all the details (of voice calls) is still there. So assuming that agencies are not using throwaway phones, their call history is available from the phone carrier.
