Harper is going to resign. He's not getting any communication with the US Democrats whom are in nearly a super majority.

Your assuming that Dion, Layton or the Seperatist know better than the mandate the canadian people gave the conservatives?

Given the true nature of the assholes in question, they'd probably shoot her, then burn her. Then, within minutes, Fiji will be here to kindly let us know why burning her is, in fact, allowed under parliamentary rules.landscaper said:it would be very interesting if the gg told the coalition that there options are to work with the govt or go to the polls what would their response be?

Oh and I read it every day ... including all the papers with the exception of the Sun which has turned itself into a rag and is not like paper it was when Les Pyette ran it ... in other word Les hired people that could actually write. Yes this also mean I read Lord Steals a Lot's National Post.

So you're suggesting the unelected representative of a hereditary monarch should be giving an ultimatum to the elected representatives of two thirds of Canadians ordering them to support the choice of the minority?landscaper said:it would be very interesting if the gg told the coalition that there options are to work with the govt or go to the polls what would their response be?
I wouldn't say that. Harper accomplished much more with his minority government than Martin did with his.gramage said:Harper reminds me or Marty Schotenheimer (I must bespelling his name wrong) the NFL head coach. His teams always win in the regular season, but come playoff time they always fail. Harper is great at attacking the other guy, but give him control and everything he does goes wrong.
Exactly. Regardless how miniscule, was he not the only major party with an increase of support?lookingforitallthetime said:The fact he gained more seats in the last election

I'd say Harper was doing a pretty good job the past few years. The fact he gained more seats in the last election would indicate I'm not the only one who felt that way.
Lotta good that did him, eh?

While the Cons increased the number of seats they hold more than the other parties, the NDP also increased their seats by 7 while the Bloc increased by 1. So the Liberals were the only one of the 4 major parties that won fewer seats this time than last time.Diesel Jockey said:Exactly. You do realize Canada's economy is still growing, don't you? You need to dump the hyperbole and get down to facts. A crisis is being manufactured and you are buying it hook, line, and sinker. Get ready to be broiled.nottyboi said:Ask yourself, who in charge of the country when it blew up? As yourself who saw no serious problem even after the crisis started?

We are well positioned, and throwing good money after bad to rescue companies like GM is not what I want my government doing.
As for Dion being an idiot, basing your campaign on green taxes (especially with your "crisis") is about the most idiotic platform of all time.
